COYER Winter 2014 - (un)Conventional Bookviews

COYER Winter Challenge 2014-2015

I can’t believe how fast this COYER challenge has gone by! When I signed up in November last year, March of 2015 seemed quite far away, if you know what I mean! Reading freebies and cheap e-books or audio-books is always great, and the community Berls @ Fantasy is More Fun, Michelle @ Because Reading and Stormi @ Books, Movies, Reviews Oh My! have created for the participants is amazing! Hanging out together in our special Facebook group, and having several mini-challenges and read-a-thons has made this edition of the COYER challenge even better than the past editions πŸ™‚ And at the time I’m writing this post, there are 594 reviews that have been linked to the challenge! I think we all pretty much rocked this.

I had planned on reading 35 books for COYER, and I achieved my goal! I actually went a little bit over, so this was definitely a win for me. My kindle doesn’t really have much less free or cheap books, though, because I’ve seen so many great reviews during the challenge, and it’s just impossible to not use my one-click finger when a book is free or almost free!

Here’s a list (with links) to all the books I’ve read for the COYER challenge this time around:

    • Thank you, Silvia πŸ™‚ I’m quite happy, too, even if my kindle still holds just as many books to read πŸ˜‰

  1. I also reached and went over my goals! This was the most fun Coyer so far and I am happy I got to participate in the twitter parties. And it’s always fun to hang around in the facebook group.

    • Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to participate in any of the twitter parties, but I still had lots of fun on the Facebook group, and visiting blogs πŸ™‚

    • Thanks, Braine πŸ™‚ A challenge can definitely help me get going on some of the books that have been on my TBR for way too long πŸ™‚

    • There will be another COYER challenge in the summer, you should join us then! e-ARCs count, of course, as do free and cheap books you might add because they’re free or cheap, and then kind of forget about them πŸ˜‰

  2. Congrats on your accomplishment, Lexxie!! You did quite well. I’m so glad Berls and Michelle created this challenge. It’s so much fun! πŸ™‚

I hope your week was a good one, my dear. And I hope you have something fun lined up for the weekend. We have a winter guard competition tomorrow. And we hope to see the high school musical on Sunday. Sky is still spiking a fever but feels okay when she’s on ibuprofen. I hope to find you online this weekend sometime. **BIG HUGS**

    • Thank you Brandee πŸ™‚ I’m really happy Berls and Michelle came up with the idea for COYER as well, it’s a great challenge, and we do always have a lot of fun with it πŸ™‚

My week has been good, and this morning we have really nice weather – we’re going to have our first BBQ outside for this year πŸ˜‰ And this afternoon, Espen has a hockey game, while tonight he’ll be one of the flag-bearers for the main team’s game. And tomorrow, he’s becoming a teenager! So we’ll have a pretty good weekend, I’m sure.

I hope Sky will feel much better very quickly. Mono sucks! I hope we’ll find each other online this weekend as well, we have a lot of stuff to catch up on πŸ™‚ Have fun at the winter guard competition, and I hope you’ll be able to see the high school musical tomorrow. *BIG HUGS*

  3. Congraulations for completing a challenge, Lexxie! I doubt I would have completed any challenge at all (except for the GR one, but that’s REAAAALLY easy haha!) because my mind can be so all over the place sometimes πŸ™ But in any case, I’m glad that this challenge was successful for you and everyone else. Well done!
