Subject: Lt. Commander Mitch "Irish" Donovan

His Mission: Babysit a fitness queen with a hands-on approach!

Navy SEAL Mitch Donovan always plays to win. The push-up contest at the Halloween party should have been a piece of cake. Except that the cake in question is a hot woman dressed as a delicious dessert. Now the only exercise on Mitch's mind is restraint…

Livi Kane may be The Body Babe, but she has zero confidence. This hunky SEAL, however, makes her forget everything—except for a workout involving his hot, naked bod and a whole lot of sexy, sweaty delight. But Mitch has his secrets—and Livi certainly has hers. All it will take is one unexpected encounter to turn this steamy attraction into an even bigger secret that will start showing any day now…

Hotness galore, romance, strong characters and important choices – A SEAL’s Secret has it all!

My A SEAL’s Secret review:

The story of A SEAL’s Secret starts with… a push-up competition between Mitch and Livi, and from there, things heat up very quickly! Livi is usually very shy, but she has decided that for Halloween, she’s letting herself have some fun. When she spots Super-Hottie across the room, she knows she’d like to have some fun with him. Mitch, on the other hand, usually is rather a flirt, never wanting anything serious in his life, apart from his work as a SEAL. When he sees Livi, though, he wonders if there just might be more to life than work.

Both Livi and Mitch come from families that meddle quite a bit, but Livi is a lot more aware of that fact than Mitch is. In the beginning of A SEAL’s Secret, their relationship is established through a few sexy phone calls, and some text messages, and I enjoyed that they got to know each other as persons before they met again and burned up the sheets!

The complications are delicious, because Livi is a fitness guru with a somewhat shaky reputation, and Mitch is a high-up SEAL, who is ordered to share some of the SEAL’s workouts with her. They work through that easily, and the way they spend a lot of time in Livi’s home, between eating and sexing each other up was filled with so much hotness my kindle was smoking.

If you’re looking for a quick, sexy read that has some great characters worth getting to know, A SEAL’s Secret is the perfect book for you.

Some of my favorite A SEAL’s Secret quotes:

She was pretty sure a wild bout with a yummy military hunk would do amazing things for her body, too.

That three-minute phone call had been more exciting than actual sex with her ex had. Of course, that had rarely lasted more than three minutes, either.

Was that love? Mitch’s eyes flew open, the foggy dregs of sleep shattering. His stomach clenched. He was fascinated by her, but that  didn’t mean it was some heavy emotional thing.

    • I think those are some kind of rings people use for work-outs… since both Mitch and Livi are so sporty 🙂 Or it might be a helicopter… He’s hot, though, hanging there 😉

    • The only thing missing for this one to be absolutely perfect for you is a were, Carmel! The hotness, the push-up competition, the hotness… yeah, it’s really good!

  1. Sounds like some good steamy fun, Lexxie! A pushup competition?? I like that it seems as though they step outside of their comfort zones AND I also like the fact that they got to know each other before steaming up your glasses through your kindle. 😉 Well, it’s going on my tbr.

I hope you’ve had a wonderful day!! **BIG HUGS**
