From bestselling author Sarah Castille comes a scorching new series featuring red-hot, hard-riding bikers and the women who can’t help but love them…
IT TAKES A GOOD, STRONG WOMAN
Raised in a motorcycle gang, tough, beautiful Arianne Hunter has always dreamed of a normal life. But no sooner does she escape her father’s domineering grasp than she wakes up to find herself in a rival gang’s clubhouse—at the mercy of the dangerously sexy Jagger Knight.
TO TAME A MAN WHO’S HELL ON WHEELS.
The alpha leader of the notorious Sinner’s Tribe, Jagger Knight is all muscle, all biker, and all man. But somewhere inside this hard tattooed outlaw, Arianne senses a kindred spirit—and she can’t ignore their tempestuous attraction. Can she beat him at his own game in a revved-up blaze of glory? Or will their passion spark a war that’s the end of the road for them both?

My Rough Justice review:
Rough Justice is a tough story with a hard-ass MC president, and a very capable and kick-ass biker who wishes she was far, far away from bikers, the politics and the honor system of a club. The story is really good, filled with excitement, violence, hot moments, and two protagonists who don’t want to have feelings for each other. Both Jagger and Arianne are excellent characters, and I loved the character development something fierce! They both started out in a place where they weren’t happy with themselves, but because they are both so stubborn, it took a while before either of them would listen to their hearts.
While both the story and the characters really appealed to me, there is a reason why I only gave three stars instead of four, and this reason may very well have been changed in the final copy of Rough Justice. There were quite a few typos, and also some continuity errors that made me go back and check things to be sure I hadn’t missed anything. As I read an advanced copy, I’m pretty sure these have been fixed, but I have to review the copy I read.
Because Arianne is the rival club president’s daughter, things are pretty complicated between her and Jagger from the start. She has tried for years to run away to lead a more ‘normal’ life, with her brother, but things go very wrong, and she ends up with Jagger’s club – and he claims her as a debt for the killing of a member in his club. Of course, a strong woman like Arianne is not taking it lightly to be seen as property, and I loved how she was not afraid to stand up to Jagger when the situation warranted it. Rough Justice is an appealing story, both because it covers two rival gangs and the lengths they go to in order to protect their turf, their brothers and their business, and because there is still honor (at least with the Sinners), friendship, respect, loyalty and love.
Written in third person point of view, and with quite a bit of dialogues, Rough Justice had me feel as if I was a part of the action, especially when there was a big show-down towards the end. If you enjoy hot bikers, strong women and lots of intrigue because information keeps getting into the wrong hands, you should pick up Rough Justice for a ride of pure adrenaline and fierce loyalty.
Some of my favourite Rough Justice quotes:
As president, Jagger was responsible for MC brothers men. Their pain was his pain. their loss was his loss. And their revenge… When it came, he would make sure it was the sweetest fucking revenge they’d ever tasted.
Delicious. His sheer presence drew her in. No. Not presence. Power. Raw and untamed.

Thanks for stopping by today, good luck in the giveaway!
Reading this book contributed to these challenges:
It does look good and I hope the typos have been corrected since 😉 I’ll be reading her Legal series first, since I already own some of the books in this series. Great review !
Motorcycle gangs are pretty hot, Iza, and The Sinners is a gang I want to read more about in the future for sure 🙂
I read a different book by Castille, and really enjoyed it, and while I don’t read a lot of contemporary, I do have a weakness for Motorcycle Clubs, so I’m thinking I’m gonna have to add this one, Lexxie 😉 Great review!
I think you’d really enjoy Jagger and Arianne, Jessica. I definitely want more 🙂 Thanks for stopping by.
I’m also part of this blog tour! My stop is on February 16th. I loved this book and I can’t wait to read the next one about Dawn and Cade! 😀
I’m sure there will be lots of hotness in Dawn and Cade’s story, Stephanie 🙂 I can’t wait to read that one, too, and I look forward to reading your review for Rough Justice on the 16th.
I wouldn’t have been that intrigued in a biker book before watching SOA I do admit ahah. This sounds like a great ride though and character driven, too! Great review, Lexxie!
I haven’t watched SOA, Giselle, but biker stories are still hot in many ways. Especially when the bikers have honor and are loyal like the Sinners do 🙂

It’s tough to read ARCs sometimes. The errors get in the way of the story’s flow.
I’m laying off MC books for now, especially the one like SoA. I’m disturbed LOL
Yeah, but the story was still great, Braine 🙂 I kind of have to mention stuff like that anyway – the teacher in me won’t let go 🙂
Anything book related is okay with me! Love the giveaway already! 😀
Thanks for stopping by Princess Anyaibe 🙂
A biker book? Hmm haven’t read one of those yet! Haha but i’m loving everything you’ve said about it—character wise! I’ll add it to the list 🙂
Character development is important, and entering a contemporary world that is completely alien to me was great, Lily.
Thanks very much for hosting me today and for the awesome review! I hope you all enjoy Dawn and Cade’s story in Beyond the Cut. And Zane is up next in Sinner’s Steel.
Now you just made me want to read Beyond the Cut and Sinner’s Steel even more, Sarah 🙂
I have not read a lot of MC groups but very curious about this one, I do love hearing about good character developments
Character development is just as important as the actual story to me, and I think you’ll enjoy Rough Justice, Lily 🙂
Hot bikers and strong women sounds great to me
Very enjoyable, indeed, Brandi 🙂
I haven’t tried yet a series about bikers but I confess that I really want to! I really love the idea. I have a book in my wish-list in the same idea so I think I should try it before this one, but I’ll keep it in mind. thanks for the review.
Bikers are almost a little alien to me, so I love reading about them – it’s a complete change of scenery, Melliane 🙂
Great review, Lexxie! I’ve only read a few biker books but I like them! 😉 I’m very curious about Arianne and Jagger’s world. I want to know why life was so bad that Arianne was wanting to escape and how life changed for her once she was taken by the rival MC. I’m glad you enjoyed it so well – except for those editing issues.
*big hugs*
Biker stories are intriguing, right? So different from the world I live in, and yet, in many ways things are similar as well. The story was really well done, and I think you’d enjoy Arianne and Jagger, Brandee 😉
