Wowza! The Blood King was fantastic! Ladon and Skylar’s story was action-packed! There were lots of dragon battles as well as battles of will and battles of the heart. These two were absolutely fated for each other but both were too stubborn to recognize the signs. Once they did, they were too stubborn to want to give in. LOL The banter between these two was fun and built the sexual tension. There was more to the story than the romance though. Untouchable revolved around characters – Murdoch and Daniela – that I didn’t know much about. I certainly felt for them considering the hurdles their relationship presented. It’d been awhile since I visited the Immortals After Dark series and I’m so happy I kicked off my 2020 audio year with Kiss of a Demon King. While Kiss of a Demon King wasn’t as action-packed as other installments, I did enjoy seeing Rydstrom find and fight for his fated female. And Sabine was an absolute delight! Much of their repartee was quite comedic. Visiting with others from the Lore was a bonus. Night Reigns was equally as gripping and action-packed as its predecessor. Not only did I get Marcus’ and Ami’s story, but Duvall also delivered a few more pieces to the overall puzzle.   Darkness Dawns served as my introduction to Dianne Duvall and I’m kicking myself for not having listened to it sooner! It was chock full of excitement, romance, action, and a new-to-me spin on vampires and immortals. The fact it was narrated by Kirsten Potter was gravy!
