Review: Homecoming – Shannon Stacey

Review: Homecoming – Shannon Stacey

Homecoming is more than a romance, it’s about finding yourself when you thought you were lost forever… Both Sam and Jen were a little lost and needed direction, and the fact that both of them had best friends who were engaged to the other’s best friends made working together more than a little awkward. Especially because they knew just how much chemistry they had when they let go. Homecoming was tender and sweet, and it made me want it all for Jen and Sam, with all their baggage and the way they saw their future, it would be a rocky road, for sure. One of the things I loved about Homecoming was the theme of forgiveness. Forgiving oneself, and forgiving […]

Here’s how to play along : Post on your blog, Twitter, Instagram or Facebook — or anywhere else you might want to post — and declare your intentions […]

#ReadIndie Review: Mr. Match – J.A. Huss

#ReadIndie Review: Mr. Match – J.A. Huss

Mr. Match is the biggest mindfuck I have ever read, and that is really saying something! On top of that, the romance and the characters were top notch, too! Mr. Match finally brought all the loose ends together, but those ends weren’t all neat and nice, oh no, Sir! They were messy. They were filled with lies. They took away some hope. They made people trust each other less. They took no prisoners. But they did clear up everything that needed to be cleared up. WOW what a ride the Mister series has been. Each of the first four books can be read in any order, but this fifth book should definitely be read last – it’s the only one […]

Review: Hard to Hold – Katie Rose

Review: Hard to Hold – Katie Rose

Hard to Hold is a sweet contemporary romance in the spin-off to The Boys of Summer series, with solid characters and a good plot. Contemporary romances that include sports heroes are among my favorites, and Hard to Hold is well done, with complex characters that I wanted to spend even more time with! The romance was swoony, and Logan was toe-curling! I can’t imagine what Logan went through – out with some friends for a few beers, a woman he’d spent one night with a year before dumped a three-month old baby in his lap and told him he was the father and it was his turn to take care of Cinnamon… At least, women have 9 months to get used […]
