Darkhouse has been hanging around gathering dust for awhile. When my younger daughter gave it a listen, loved it, and promptly blew through the first 3 books in the Experiment in Terror series, I decided it was time I give it a listen! Highlights: Characters Perry seems like your typical 20-something, working at a job she doesn’t enjoy while trying to figure out where her life goes from here. She’s had an interesting life thus far – KHalle doles out facts throughout such as drug-use, mental health issues, weight issues – all of which have impacted who Perry is right now.   Tamed by the She-Wolf is the fifth installment in KHollis’ Wahyas of Walker’s Run series and a worthy addition. I appreciated getting Angeline’s story and I admired Hollis for incorporating a disability into the story. The Vampire Blood series kicked off my fangirling for JCross’ writing. That series was unique and refreshing and Soulfire – equally unique and refreshing – served to intensify my affection for JCross’ story telling talent. I didn’t write this review right away because I just didn’t have the time but I have to admit that this story and my feelings about it have only improved up reflection. Review: Wicked Kiss – Rebecca Zanetti

Wicked Kiss was yet another fast-paced, action-packed romance in the Realm Enforcers series. I loved Tori, and the way she brought Adam to his knees. Story: I loved the strength Tori showed throughout Wicked Kiss, even if she put herself in danger at times because of her stubbornness. Adam pushed all her buttons, though, so it really wasn’t difficult to forgive her for some lapses in judgement. The overall Realm Enforcers plot continued with the search for the mastermind behind Appollo, and the suspense was sharp-edged.
