The Sunday Post #216 – Weekend Wrap-up

Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.

This week was back to work for us, and it was an OK week, but also rather busy. The month of May will probably fly by, and I have a lot to do, as I have exams at the end of the month, and also two group projects to hand in…

The weather is still not all that, and I’m waiting for some more sun with impatience! We also had our whole heating and hot warmer installations changed and upgraded this week, so it was a noisy week.

This Week’s Puppies in Action:

Did you get some good books last week? What have you been up to this past week? Thanks for stopping by, I hope you’re enjoying your weekend, and that next week will be filled with awesome!

    • I love Erica Ridley, and I love that this series is actually written by two authors – Erica writes books 1, 3, 5 and Darcy Burke writes 2, 4, 6.
Freddy is the best dog 🙂 But so is Hercules 😀 Have a wonderful weekend, Gen!

Ooh nice new reads!! Those are all totally new to me ones!

Funnily enough our weather is being a bit wonky too. We should be in spring temps and niceness…yet we go back and forth between nice and cold and rain. Lots and lots of rain! We’re getting flooding in some areas, luckily not us though, but still lots of wet and just yuck. Lol.

    Happy Reading this week!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!

    Have a GREAT day!

    Old Follower 🙂

Our weather has been crazy and I’m tired of the unpredictability! I have developed a huge cart at Book Outlet but guilt is keeping me from hitting that buy button. It would be a deep hit to my book budget for the year! Enjoy your new arrivals!

Slow Burn! And, some Simone. 🙂

May is going to be one of my busy months, too, but I think you will probably be busier. LOL Wishing you well on those projects and getting your grading done for the summer.

Haha, Freddy does look skeptical. 🙂

    Have a good week, Lexxie!

  4. Wow that Hercules pic… he looks like he’s totally posing for the camera! Course the Freddy one is pretty good too. 🙂 They’re both quite photogenic, and I think they know it lol.

    Happy Sunday!!

  5. I just about squealed from how cute Freddy’s picture is. He must own you, when he looks at you like that. I hope May goes as quickly as you hope and that it also goes smoothly.

  6. I’m with you on waiting impatiently for sun. It’s lovely and bright, but I need a little more warmth! Song Woman caught my eye and so did Mrs Every Thing. Enjoy your books.

    • I really need some warmer weather – and at the same time, I know that once it gets really hot, I’ll long for cooler weather again 😮
I need to read the first book that came out before Song Woman, but it looks so good! And I’m a huge fan of Jennifer Weiner, so I’m happy I got a copy of her new book.
      Have a wonderful week, Trish!

  7. I like the sound of your Kristen Ashley… I haven’t read that series yet.
I’m also desperate for the warmer weather… This time last year, I’m almost certain I was complaining it was getting too hot, lol. This year I’m fidgeting impatiently as the warmth is late! lol
Good luck with the exam/paper prep! Not long to summer break now.

We started with freezing weather into May. Even in some areas with snow. Feels more like April than May. Thanks for the beautiful pictures. They are both so cute!

  9. Beware Of The Reader

Aaaw Freddy is such a cutie on that pic Lexxie!!!! Can you resist him? I couldn’t! Now why am I under the nagging impression that I know that Jennifer Weiner…I think I must have read one of her books years ago…Anyway enjoy!

  10. Wow looks like you had a good week!!! Love your adorable puppies!!! So danged cute! I just finished the first book in the Kristen Ashley book: The Hook-Up. It was very fun and not what I expected. Looks like you got some good ARC’s this week!

  11. I give up on the weather, I am just thinking this is the weather we will have forever. No seasons just crazy weather. I have no idea what to wear anymore .

Good Luck on all your exams. I hope you are able to relax this summer! You have been working so hard you deserve a break! Miss you so much my friend!

Have a great week, Lexxie! Happy Reading oxox

  12. Gayathri Lakshminarayanan

Your pups make my day every week. Keep posting their pictures pl. Have a great week ahead.

  13. I had to go back to work this past week and it was kind of rough as well. May is just crazy in schools! But, I only have 4 weeks left then I’m free for the summer!

  14. I’m guessing your weather is chilly, overcast and dry… that’s what we’re having right now:(. It’s a bit miserable, really. Love the puppy pics – at least you have them to keep you cheerful! Have a great week, Lexxie.

  15. You got so many awesome looking books Lexxie! Slow Burn and the Sierra Simone books look amazing! It does sound like you have a lot coming up in May. I hope you have a wonderful month and are able to enjoy yourself as well! Hercules and Freddie are so cute!!! Happy Reading!

Aren’t exams fun?(lol) Hope you get through them quickly so you can spend time with your precious puppies. A good mix of books, and Charlaine Harris looks interesting. I just finished Redemption by David Baldacci, but the pile is still pretty dang tall.(lol) Hope you have a fabulous week! Hugs…RO
