Weekend Wrap-up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookworms and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer.

STS #

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality is all about the latest additions to my library – virtual or actual, with books that are  bought, borrowed, won or ARCs  I will (probably) be reading soon. Without further ado, here’s what I added to my bloated shelves this past week:

Purchased - (un)Conventional Bookviews bought borrowed and bagged stacking the shelves

The Greatest Risk cover - (un)Conventional Bookworms - Weekend Wrap-upGood Time cover - (un)Conventional Bookworms - Weekend Wrap-upGood Time inside cover - (un)Conventional Bookworms - Weekend Wrap-up

The Greatest Risk was a Christmas novella, and it’s free. It was really good!

I ordered a mystery box from Jana Aston a while back, and it arrived this week – full of goodness 🙂 Included signed copies of Good Time and Good Girl 🙂 Love it! There was also a Grind Me Café mug, a long-sleeved Legiterally T-shirt, pens, sweets and more 🙂

Gifted - (un)Conventional Bookviews - bought borrowed and bagged stacking the shelves

A Midwinter Night's Dream cover - (un)Conventional Bookworms - Weekend Wrap-up

This Original Sinners novella was delivered with Tiffany Reisz’ newsletter, and as always, I loved getting a little hit of Søren, King and Nora 😉

Last week of teaching, and I had an exam at Uni on Friday. I’m exhausted, but oh so happy to be off until January 7th! It’s going to be nice to spend time with family, and we’ll also drive down to our place in Spain to celebrate the New Year there 🙂

How great to be able to relax until January 7, and to spend some time in Spain! Wishing you a happy, safe and merry holiday with lots of good books! Hugs…RO

  3. Nice! Glad you have yourself a break for awhile! That is one thing I truly miss about school! Your pups are so cute! I feel like Hercules was deliberate in sticking out his tongue in that moment! Lol!

Yay for the new read too! That’s a new to me one! Hope you enjoy it!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!

    Have a GREAT day!

  4. Glad you made it through the teaching and school last minute things and can now look forward to a restful and fun holiday break with family.

Neat what came in your mystery box. I did one a while back for Jeannie Lin and had a great time seeing what she put in it. Yay for a newsletter story from one of your favorite series. I love when author’s do that. Hopefully you’ll have a bit of time to do some reading.

LOL, the puppy pics are fun!

    Happy holidays, Lexxie!

  5. Vacation time indeed! I don’t have a straight up vacation, but here we have 5 straight public holiday days so that’ll be good enough 😀 although I spent the entirety of yesterday unable to do anything much, just staring at walls and skulking around. But I think that’s part of the process!

Your signed book looks amazing 🙂 as well as the adorable doggos! I can’t believe Herc is so big now.

    Thanks for sharing my post!!

    • I think skulking around doing nothing is part of the down-winding process as well, Evelina! I have stuff to do – I have 36 tests to grade, for example… but I’m not going to think about that right now;)
Herc has become SO big! And he’s still acting like a puppy – he drives us crazy sometimes.
My pleasure sharing your post, my dear! Happy Holidays!

Long holidays are perfect for lazying around. We are going to use this time for a resort stay, as we don’t celebrate Christmas anyway. Your doggos are adorable as usual.

  7. I like book boxes. All those fun goodies along with surprise reads are fun! I’m off until January 2nd and so looking forward to some down time. The pups look adorable. They really have bonded.. Merry Christmas!

  8. The puppies are adorable! It sounds like you got a really great book box. Enjoy your holiday break – you definitely deserve it! Merry Christmas!
