Weekend Wrap-up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookviews and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer.
STS #179
Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews is all about the latest additions to my library – virtual or actual, with books that are bought, borrowed, won or ARCs I will (probably) be reading soon. Without further ado, here’s what I added to my bloated shelves this past week:
*sighs* Sourcebooks, how I love, love, love thy! Even if you twist my arm badly and ‘make me’ add more books to my shelves. Please never stop sending me e-mails!
Thank you so much for this amazing e-mail with all these goodies, Carina Press.
Thank you, Kensington Books, Atria, Harlequin TEEN, and NetGalley!

Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.
I feel like I repeat myself every weekend, about how busy my week has been:) And yes, it’s been the same this past week, too. Spring has really arrived, though, with flowers growing, the leaves appearing on the trees, and the dreaded pollen making me sneeze like crazy.

Fadwa @ Word Wonders has a fantastic post about Intersectional Feminism on her blog! You should really check it out.
Geybie @ Geybie’s Bookblog share her list of favorite Books that made her ugly-cry.
Sarah @ Written Word Worlds discusses YA authors who diss… YA – it kind of boggles the mind, no?
Did you get some good books last week? What have you been up to this past week? Thanks for stopping by, I hope you’re enjoying your weekend, and that next week will be filled with awesome!
Yes, I think the busy feeling is probably going to be around for a while with the projects and work you have going on. Ugh, pollen season.
Oh, looks like you got lots of goodies in the haul this week. I’ve been meaning to read Molly Harper’s books they look so fun.
Yay for Freddie getting out and enjoying the spring weather. 🙂
I enjoy being busy, but lately, it’s been too much of a good thing, here 🙂
I got some great books this week, and I love the e-mails with new books for me.
Have a wonderful weekend, Sophia!

i doubt 24 hours is going to be enough for me…
24 hours is never enough, Ailyn!
Freddy is way cuter than Beckham! Ugh pollen…it’s such a misery for people when that all starts. I’m lucky not to be affected by it. Spring doesn’t seem to have hit here yet but the weather is still a bit unsettled. No bad winter storms which is a relief. I hate high winds. Not much going on in my part of the world really! Have a good reading week!
I think so, too 🙂 But because of the movie it just came to mind as he was standing between the goal posts 🙂
I’m happy about spring even with the pollen, mother nature is coming back to life.
Ooh nice! I just found out I was approved for Legion too! Requested it on a total longshot and was surprised when I got the email last night! Now I just need to read Solider! My review pile…which had been pretty small, like 2 books, just got crazy in one week!! LOL! Hope you enjoy the new reads!
My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then!
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
I was so surprised, as I haven’t read the third book yet (and maybe even the second… I can’t remember!)
I hope the pollen goes away soon. Freddy looks like he’s enjoying spring, though. Have a great week!
It’s not as bad as it has been some years, so I really shouldn’t complain. And it definitely is nice to have more sun and longer days!
As always an awesome looking book haul, Lexxie! Mine is small this week but I’m super happy with them.
Being happy with your haul is the most important, right?
You’re seeing MOLLY HARPER?! She’s a favorite of mine and while she lives in my state, I’ve never met her. haha She doesn’t do a ton of signings I don’t think. that’s awesome though – I really need to get up to date on all her books. I swear she writes too fast!
Yeah! Molly Harper is coming to Berlin for RARE17 in June. And I persuaded Mr. Lex to go for a weekend getaway with me to Berlin that weekend 😉
I haven’t read all of these, but I love those by her I’ve read, and figured I might as well get some more paperbacks to get signed 🙂
I liked the Molly Harper I tried but the others are new to me. happy reading!
I enjoy Molly Harper, too 🙂 I haven’t read all these that I’ve ordered in paperback, now. But I wanted a whole series to get signed 😀
Are you going to the New Romance Festival in Cannes in September, Melliane?
I am eager to get The Blackbird Season. I enjoyed The Vanishing Year by the author.
Hi, Freddy!
Enjoy your week….
I don’t think I’ve read anything else by her, Laurel-Rain, but The Blackbird Season sounds really good.
Ahh Thank you so much, Lexxie. #hugs 😀
Btw, I’ve already purchased The Night Mark, thanks to your recommendation!
I can’t wait to read your reviews for ‘The Upside of Unrequited’ and ‘Cowboys Don’t Ride Unicorns’. Top rated books are my weaknesses. 😉
I hope you have a wonderful week filled with awesome reads, Lexxie. Happy reading. 😀
I loved your ugly-cry list, Geybie! And way to put some pressure on me, right?I hope you’ll enjoy The Night Mark as much as I did, and I’ll be looking for your review 🙂 I absolutely love Tiffany Reisz.
Both The Upside of Unrequited and Cowboys Don’t Ride Unicorns totally did me in as well, in very different ways 🙂
Oh I loved The Strongest Steel as well! Trent is probably one of my top book boyfriends for sure! Amazing book haul by the way! Super awesome.
Hope your allergies get better. I know how miserable that is!
*sighs* Trent… Yeah, it was really good, wasn’t it?
Thanks for stopping by, Samantha 🙂
Sourcebooks is one of my favorites! I don’t know how you do it – accepting/reading all of these. I get a lot of unsolicited book mail, but with electronic ARCs, I pretty much ignore the unsolicited requests. 😀 I’m curious about Murphy’s Law! I’ve heard a lot of good things about Foster’s books. I hope you enjoy all of your new additions!
Have a wonderful weekend, Lexxie. =)
Check out my STS post!
Sourcebooks and Carina Press just send me books… and I don’t feel any kind of pressure when it comes to reading them, although I usually do end up reading them all.
Murphy’s Law is a re-release, and I really look forward to it, as I love Lori Foster 🙂
Funny – I feel like I say too much each week. I’m struggling right now to redesign my Sunday Post segments. I hope you’ve got some meds for that sneezing! Happy reading!
I’m sure you’ll find the right design for your Sunday Post, Charlie 🙂 I do have meds for my allergies, but I don’t take them very often, as they make me so very sleepy 🙁
You certainly did get a lot of goodies. It has been nice here too, but unfortunately my wiener won’t play soccer with me. 🙁 Enjoy your books, Lexxie!
I got so many gooddies I hope I’ll find the time to read 🙂

Ahh – I need to keep reading the Talon series. I tried the first and was underwhelmed but I really want to keep going to see what happens and if it gets better for me.
Sorry about all the pollen affecting you! That’s not nice. 🙁
I hope you have a lovely week!
I have only read the first or maybe the first two in the Talon series, Di. And I requested Legion because I love Kagawa, but I didn’t really think I’d be accepted. I guess I should hurry up and catch up now, eh?
Thanks for stopping by.

I can hardly wait for spring. I’ll take the allergies if it means I can ride my motorcycle again. It is so sad sitting in the garage 🙁 I hope things mellow out for you and you can breath again soon.
I hope things mellow out for you this week in real life too. It kinda sucks to be so busy. You are still getting loads of book reviewed and posts up on your site, so there’s that. You should write a post about how you do it ALL. I would love to know your secrets.
The Blackbird Season got my interest. I hope you enjoy all your new reads (whenever you get to them that is). Have a great week and happy reading!
I bet you’re impatient to get your motorcycle out of the garage, Karen!
I am not sure how I’ve been able to keep up lately, and I did take a week off because I just didn’t want to stress with the blog 🙂
Thanks for stopping by!
So sorry about the P word:(. Really. Because in another month, I shall be sneezing alongside you until early June – or later if it’s a really wet month and the flowering grasses continue longer than usual. The only consolation I have is that it used to be SO much worse with temperature, swollen eyes, sore throat, earache and bleeding fingers where the skin on my hands used to crack. Nowaday I sneeze a lot and my eyes are a bit sore – but as I grow older, each year my symptoms are lessened. It’s quite common, apparently – I hope you find it is the case, too! Have a good week despite the pollen. My Sunday Post – https://sjhigbee.wordpress.com/2017/03/19/sunday-post-19th-march-2017/
So you mean there are actually some good things that happen as we age, too? That’s excellent news 😀
Thanks for stopping by!
Yes! It is isn’t it? Hope you find the same thing happening in due course, Lexxie:)
I hope so, too!!
Glad to hear that you’ve been getting some Spring weather, but sorry about your sinus’. My nose goes a little crazy with all of the pollen too. It’s been really cold around here for the past week or so. I’m still waiting on that warm weather.
So many great books this week! Hope you love them all, and have a great week!
It really is nice to see the sun, and the green grass as well as the flowers just makes everything feel so alive!
Thanks for stopping by, Julie 🙂

Goodness Woman! I thought I got a lot of books that last two weeks, you totally beat me! 🙂
Busy is good, right? I have been a bit busier at home than usual and this week I took a blog break and it was totally needed. Freddy would make a wonderful soccer player! The cutest playing in the history of Soccer.
I am so looking forward to spring, just not the pollen. The allergies usually mess up my son so bad and sometimes me.
I hope this week is awesome for you Lexxie! Miss your face! oxoxox
I know, right? Thankfully, most of my new books are e-books, if not I’d have to start building a library right now 🙂
Busy is good, but a little less busy than I’ve been lately would be very nice 😀
Taking a blog break can be so very nice, and I hope you profited from yours, Michelle. I miss your face lots, too! {{{HUGS}}}
It felt like a busy week for me too but I can’t figure out why. LOL It’s green and colorful here and time to finish getting the pool ready. And the pollen is so thick my car looks green! You sure nabbed a bunch of books this week. I couldn’t believe it when I did my books I got part of my post and only had one this week. WHAT????LOL
Sometimes, we just have stuff to do that fill up our days, but it’s like nothing special, is that it?
Oh my gosh, that’s worse than here with the pollen, Laura! I hope you’ll be able to clean it up.
One book? That’s awesome 🙂
I love spring though I don’t love allergies. I usually have more problems in the fall than spring. I am definitely looking forward to warmer weather.
I do enjoy those Sourcebooks emails. I’ve gotten some nice ARCs from them in the past. Looks like you’ve got a good selection. Hope you enjoy them!
Have a great week!
Do you know what you’re allergic to? I wonder what there is more of during the fall than spring…
Sourcebooks and Carina Press both sent me some great books this week, I hope I’ll find the time to read them soon 🙂
I sometimes feel like every week is a busy one. Working full time and having a family doesn’t leave a ton of time for other things. Throw in a few extra events and I am wiped out. Freddy is adorable as always. My youngest dog is part dachshund (or so they say) and I don’t really see it but her tail looks just like Freddy’s and her coat is getting longer. It looks like you got some great books this week. Enjoy!
You’re right! Most of my weeks are really busy, and I really look forward to my next vacation now. I have been working full time since Christmas, and that wasn’t planned at all… plus, I don’t know for how long I will have work, as the person I’m replacing still hasn’t been cleared to come back.
Thanks for stopping by, Carole 🙂

Glad you had a great week. Spring is thinking about coming here. The grass is starting to grow. I haven’t seen any flowers yet. Shouldn’t be much longer though. Hope you have a great week this week.
The grass has grown, and we suddenly got various flowers too, this week. I should take some pictures to include in next week’s post 🙂
Wow!! That’s another great looking stack of books! Where do keep them all? LOL!! 😉
I love spring.. I always get happy when I see those flowers popping up everywhere.
Have a great week and happy reading!
I know 🙂 Most of the books are e-books, and I have some very nice shelves for the paperbacks. I may need more pretty soon, but that’s OK.
I love spring, too, even with the pollen and my allergies.
Sourcebooks, Atria and Kensington are always tempting me too. 🙂 Looks like you got some good ones there, Lexxie!
I love the spring weather, although not so much the allergies it brings with it. Everyone in my house is sneezing more. I bet Freddy is loving this weather!
I hope you have a great week! Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Sourcebooks are a bit sneaky, as they just send me an e-mail with eARCs attached 🙂 And I love it! Atria and Kensington make me work a little more for it, but it’s so very difficult to resist 🙂
I love the spring weather, too, but wish I wasn’t allergic.
Oh my goodness did you make a haul book-wise last week!! Good grief, wifey! I admit I’m a little green and it has nothing to do with St. Patrick’s Day. 😉 I’m sorry you’re sneezing. It seems spring has arrived here early as well but what that means for us is fire danger being high and fire bans in effect. Wah! Snow, snow, we need more snow!!!! Enjoy all your new reads and find some time for YOU in all the crazy busy you have going on. {{{BIG HUGS}}}
The books you purchased had some great titles and look quite entertaining! I am not familiar with any of them, but I will check then out on GR. Have a fantastic week.
You have a nice pile of books to go through. Very nice meeting you. I came from Caffeinated Book Reviewer’s link.

Freddy AND a soccer ball and net??? probably the most adorable pic I’ve seen in a while. I’m a soccer crazy mom and you know I’m Freddy’s biggest fan so LOVE LOVE LOVE.
I wanted to request legion but man.. you already saw my HUGE NetGalley pile so nope no no no I need to show some restrain. 😛 I hope you read it soon so I get jealous and request it 🙂 Glad to hear you are looking forward to spring and flowers. A pic of Freddy with flowers could be too much for me tough 🙂 I’ll melt in a puddle 🙂
Ooh you got Girl Out of Water. I definitely want to read one. And spring is just starting to bud out here too, I’m seeing green shoot up. 🙂
The Blackbird season looks good too.
Glad you guys got spring. We are still waiting. So many good books!!! Enjoy and have a great week!
Twitter: lattenightsbook
So many books! I got Girl Out of Water months ago but have yet to read it. I hope it’s good!
Aww look at Freddy out and about enjoying the weather.
