This and That…
This picture was taken almost two weeks ago, it’s of Brandee, me, and Denise, we’re up on a mountain just outside of the city of Geneva – and we can see the whole city plus the lake form there. We also watched some guys jump off with their para-gliders. It was a fantastic day! It was a fantastic time overall to have them here – truly.
Brandee and Denise left Europe on Wednesday, and they were supposed to be back home in Denver that same day. However, the weather did not permit that, as Denver had a pretty bad snowstorm, and their flight form London was cancelled… They’re currently in Dallas, and won’t be all the way back home until late tonight.
Today, Brandee has a guest post over at Book of My Hearts, where she’s chatting about Far From the Tree by Robin Benway – you should check it out ๐
I will share some pictures and our feedback from RARE on Sunday, and of course, my weekend Wrap-up will be up tomorrow morning. Sorry it’s been quiet here on the blog, but we’ve just been too busy spending time together in real life.
Have a fantastic Friday and happy reading!
What an amazing picture and view!
Thank you! I need to go up there more often – it’s nice to be above it all ๐
Love that you gals had that time together.
Poor Brandee and Denise! They will be tired when they finally get home. ๐
Looking forward to your weekly re-cap!
Yeah, they’re going to be exhausted for sure – I feel so bad that the end of their trip didn’t happen as planned, even if there’s nothing any of us could have done to change that.
We sure did have a good time, though ๐
Um… when will you be putting up the Q2 page for the New Releases Challenge?
Sorry about that, Davida! It’s up now ๐
I noticed and… ooohhh, look! I’m the first one to put up a link for Q2! How exciting (and thanks again for this)!
Hope both are well and will be back home safe and sound. Snowstorms are not very funny, if you are travelling, at least thatยดs how I feel about snow. Thank you sharing that gorgeous picture with us. Glad that you all had such a great time and yes, sometimes the real life is more important than blogging. Know that and have the same situation at the moment too.
Best wishes
Vi
I agree, Vi! I do think they’re finally back home, they sent me a message from the airport in Dallas just before boarding ๐

I know you all had so much fun! The picture is beautiful. I’m looking forward to more pictures.
I think I’m going to end up sharing absolutely all of my photos – because trying to do a selection is just too hard ๐
I can’t wait to see your pictures Lexxie! And it was such a pleasure to meet and work with Brandee!
YAY Sohpie ๐ I’m just so sorry I never made it back to Scarlett’s table to meet you! Next time, for sure ๐
I heard parts of Colorado got like 3 feet of snow. It was really bad in the midwest. I hope Brandee and Denise got home safely. Beautiful picture!
Yeah, that snowstorm was pretty bad – all flights for Denver were cancelled… I think they’re finally home – over two days later than planned, but still safe and sound ๐
So glad you guys had a nice visit! And that view looks AMAZING!!
We had such a good time! I loved spending time with them in Europe, showing them around and just hanging out together ๐
What a fun experience! I love that your getting to make so many amazing memories with your co-blogger/friend Brandee! Keep the pictures coming!!!

It was awesome making memories with Brandee, Lindy! We don’t really get to see each other that often, with me in Europe and her in Colorado ๐
