The Sunday Post #33 – Weekly Wrap-up

Welcome to my Sunday Post. Thank you to Kimba over at The Caffeinated Reviewer, who is hosting this weekly event. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.

This week was a short week, because we had Monday off for Pentecost, and it was my last week of teaching classes, as from next week on my students will be in final exam mode. It was also my last week of taking classes, and I was scrambling a bit on Sunday and Monday to be able to hand in my final papers for my MA classes. It’s all done now, though, so I’ll have even more time to read and blog now!

  1. What a great week you´ve had 🙂 Her merkes det også at sommeren ikke er langt unna. Ikke så mye skolearbeid som må gjøres, og ettermiddagene er fulle av foreldremøter og avslutninger. Håper du får en flott leseuke. Klem fra Anette 🙂

  2. Sounds like you had a busy and productive week. So you basically have summer vacation now? Is this your last year of the MA? I hope you’ll enjoy the extra time for blogging and reading! Have a great week!

Congrats on the end of the semester! I’ve done the last minute paper scramble more times than I’d care to remember LOL! It’s so great when it’s over 🙂 Do you have school work at all over the summer or are you done until fall?

    • Thanks, Berls 🙂 LOL, it seems I work better under pressure 😉 I never seem to be able to actually do much of my work in advance. I will have another paper I have to hand in at the beginning of August, but I’ll still have lots of time for the beach, the kids, and my kindle.

    • Actually, there are no summer programs here, Michelle… I kind of wish there were, especially for high-school kids, because if they fail a subject, they have to do the whole year over instead of studying during summer and do a test before the new school year begins.
      Have a great week yourself!

  4. You mean you’ll be more easy to find and chat with?? Woohoo! I didn’t realize that your teaching responsibilities were done now. I’m kinda excited about that for selfish reasons. 🙂 I’m glad you were able to wrap up those and your MA obligations. I know it’s a relief. So how much longer til you’re heading to Spain? We leave for Yellowstone on Friday for our first family vacation. 🙂

I hope your week started off well! **BIG HUGS**

    • Yeah, in theory it should be easier to find me and chat with me, Brandee… But since I’ve been so busy, I have some dinner dates with friends coming up this week and next 🙂
We aren’t going to Spain until the 29th, because the youngest kids have school until the 26th, and I don’t want to drive down in the first big vacation weekend with all the other impatient people 🙂
      I miss you!! *BIG HUGS*
