Review Copy Cleanup 3.0 : Week 1

Review Copy Cleanup 3.0 : Week 1

The Review Copy Cleanup is initated by Celine of  Nyx Book Reviews and Vicky of  Books, Biscuits, and Tea. This is a meme that will help us read our review copies, because some of us just can’t stop clicking the ‘request’ button at Netgalley and Edelweiss.  I know I sometimes end up with a lot of ARCs as well as new books that are being released as well. Even if I am always excited about books, there has to be some kind of hierarchy, and it’s usually my review copies that get read first. Now, I am a little behind, so The Review Copy Cleanup came just at the right time for me. The Review Copy Cleanup meme will last […]

Review: The Scandalous, Dissolute, No Good Mr. Wright – Tessa Dare

*I received a free ARC of The Scandalous, Dissolute, No Good Mr. Wright from Avon Books via Edelweiss in exchange of an honest review* The Scandalous, Dissolute, No Good Mr. Wright is a fun and romantic book, about the man Eliza really should stay far, far away from. When she meets him for the first time, she finds him quite different from the rake she’d imagined, though… Subscribe to Blog via Email Enter your email address to subscribe to this blog and receive notifications of new posts by email. Review: House Rules (Chicagoland Vampires #7) – Chloe Neill

House Rules picks up soon after the ending of Biting Cold. The pacing is fast and furious, and Merit has to fight practically on all sides in this one. European Bloggers unite :)

European Bloggers unite :)

I got the idea for a European Bloggers hop from Sharon at Beck Valley Books, where she is hosting a linky to let UK bloggers get to know each other better, and also to help the blogs to grow. I am not in the UK, and I was a little jealous of that linky, because it’s true that a lot of the blogs I follow are based in the US, Canada or down under, and I know there are a lot of European bloggers out there as well. So when Sharon suggested that I do my own thing for Euroopean bloggers, I thought that was a great idea, so here I am 🙂 You don’t necessarily have to be a […]

Review: Boundless (Unearthly #3) – Cynthia Hand

Review: Boundless (Unearthly #3) – Cynthia Hand

Boundless is kind of without bounds, and in some ways it could have been better if it had some boundaries. Clara, Christian and Angela leave for Standford at the very beginning of Boundless, and the readers follow them through information as they arrive. The first night, they are taken out of their rooms by the older students for a run around campus in the dark, and Clara gets to know one of Angela’s roommates, as well as the PHE who’s part of her dorm. She also manages to use just a tiny bit of glory to heal a girl’s broken ankle – without anybody noticing that something is up. Subscribe to Blog via Email Enter your email address to subscribe […]

Review: Devil’s Due (Red Letter Days #2) – Rachel Caine

Review: Devil’s Due (Red Letter Days #2) – Rachel Caine

*I received a free ARC of Devil’s Due from Harlequin UK via Netgalley in exchange of an honest review* Devil’s Due is even better than Devil’s Bargain, with not only one, but two strong female protagonists! I also loved where the story went, both with the mystery of the psychics and with the way Jazz and Lucia interacted with each other and the other characters.
