COYER Summer 2106 - (un)Conventional Bookviews

WooHoo!!! It’s time for another COYER, and I, for one, am very happy. I think what I’m the most happy about is that here are hardly no rules to this Summer Vacation COYER. Usually, we can only read e-books, and they have to be free or very cheap. This time around, we can read paperbacks, hardbacks, listen to audios, read ARCs, purchased books, and expensive book alike. What’s not to love, right?

The COYER challenge has three amazing hostesses, Michelle @ Because Reading, Berls @ Fantasy Is More Fun and Stormi @ Books, Movies, Reviews Oh My!Β You can wait a while before you sign up, but I really advice you to do so before June 18th, which is the COYER start date. There is a lot of fun going on during this challenge, and some of my best blogger buddies are participating every time. There are twitter chats, a Facebook group, giveaways and lots of fun commenting happening for the duration, and who knows, you might find your new blogger bestie thanks to this challenge πŸ™‚

My goal is to read 60 books between June 18th and September 2nd, and I want a good chunk of those books to be ARCs – either those I was lucky enough to get at BEA, or those I have received from Netgalley and Edelweiss. I’m so excited about this challenge, because I always have a lot of fun, and manage to read and review a lot of books.

What are you waiting for? Newbie COYER challenge bloggers are always welcome! And we’re a very nice group, too – we don’t bite – very hard πŸ˜‰

Welcome aboard as always Lexxie! Sorry we made you wait so long for the post… That was my fault. Well I’m blamimg the job from hell πŸ™‚ but summer is in the air and I can’t wait!

  2. YAY! So glad you are joining us again. It’s not really Berls fault, if I could write I would have done the post but since she is the only one that could make a post that makes sense we have to wait on her πŸ˜‰

  3. You’re quick! I’m super duper excited for COYER again, as always! Although the Summer one tends to make me nervous, because I like rules! I need to think of a “theme” for myself to help me focus. Maybe books that have been on my TBR forever? Or finally finishing off those eARCs from 2013? πŸ˜›

    • LOL, yeah, my post was already kind of drafted, so as soon as theirs went live mine could, too πŸ™‚
I’m happy there won’t be too many rules this time, because that means all the books I read will count for COYER πŸ˜€
Finishing ARCs from 2013 sounds like a good plan, Angie πŸ˜‰

  4. I just scheduled my sign-up post for next weekend. I am not setting a goal this time and just see how far I get and track how many books I read. I am really excited for this coyer, it’s always a lot of fun. Glad to see you’re participating again as well. And good luck reaching your goal!

We have 8 days!!! I’m so ready! Especially after this past week – they gave everyone horrible evaluations and have pretty much killed morale for the end of the year.

    • Lucky you, Berls!! I don’t have a lot of actual teaching left… (this week and next) but then, I’ll have 48 exams to correct afterwards, plus meetings to discuss students who don’t pass the year – what will they do next year?
Sorry everyone has got horrible evaluations – I know you deserve a good evaluation! because you are AWESOME!! – good thing the school-year is almost over. *hugs*

  6. *hahaha* We don’t bite…very hard. Well, some of us maybe. πŸ˜‰ 60 books, Lexxie?!?! Well, you can probably do it! πŸ˜€ I’m really excited for COYER Summer Vacation. I’ll have to give the number of books I’ll be aiming for some thought but it’s *always* a good time!
    **BIG HUGS**

  7. You can do it, 60 is like nothing…lol. πŸ˜‰ You read a lot faster than me. I am sort of hoping to get anywhere around 40-50 but more would be awesome! πŸ™‚

  8. I’m hoping to read mainly ARC’s as well and clean up my kindle a bit. I have a goal of only ten but I am hoping to read way more than that! Good luck with your challenge!
