STS #134 – Bought Borrowed & Bagged #84

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews is all about the latest additions to your library – virtual or actual, with books that are  bought, borrowed, won or ARCs  you will be reading soon. Bought Borrowed and Bagged is a homage to to Barron’s Books and Baubles from KMM’ Fever series, and is hosted by Braine over at Talk Supe. Without further ado, my BEA haul from my week in Chicago:

BEA haul - Bought Borrowed and Bagged - (un)Conventional Bookviews

Because my bagged haul is really big, I’m linking to my Goodreads BEA 16 shelf if there is a book you’d like to check out from here 🙂 There are several books I’d like to delve right into, for example Gayle Forman’s Leave Me, Brenda Novak’s The Secret She Kept, or Gemina by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufmann, or Heartless by Marissa Meyer… There are more that are on my immediate to be read shelf, too, and some truly gorgeous covers on these beauties as well!

Did you get some exciting-looking books this week? Remember to leave me your link so I can check out your Stacking the Shelves and or Bought, Borrowed and Bagged post, too 🙂 Thanks for stopping by! Have a spectacular Saturday.

  1. Your hotel room looked like a library! I am going to check out what books you got because I am sure you have a bunch of different ones than me.

I hope you enjoy your new books! I can’t believe you got them all home lol

    • LOL Michelle 😀 We did get a bunch of different ones 🙂 And yeah, I needed three suitcases to get them home, so that was all good.
This was really a lazy way for me to do things… I just couldn’t imagine actually doing my normal haul-post for this – it would have been way too long.

  2. Nice stack, and I see Gemina in there (jealousy for that one) 🙂 I hope it’s as good as I think it’s going to be.

  3. I’m a little envious, but yet that is one huge scary pile LOL I like your prioritizing and forming a plan. It will be fun to see you work through it. Very cool how you color code stacked it.

I am definitely wanting Gemina. I’ll have to check out your shelf b/c I can’t tell what the titles are on the skinny ones in the pictures.

  4. Great haul! I had thought about trying to snag a copy of Gemina, but I was exhausted when that one was being dropped on the last day. Once I saw the line for it, I changed my mind and just called it a day. 😛

  5. Your BEA Haul is awesome. I hope you love all of your new BEA books. Gemina sounds really good. I hope you love all of your new books.

  6. WHOA!! What a haul!! I think my BEA haul was about one stack of these! LOL! I was trying to be selective and I still picked up a few titles that I probably won’t read. I thought they were something I’d be interested in, but turns out they weren’t what I expected. I’ll do a post-post BEA giveaway soon I suppose! LOL! Happy Reading!!

And next time, we gotta meet!! 😉

My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then if you can!

    Have a GREAT day!

    Old Follower 🙂

    • You know, I thought Friday was going to be a very quiet and ‘small’ day for me – because I knew I was going to stand in line for a while for several authors. However, in just a little over an hour in the morning, some of the publishers (Hachette and HC) who hadn’t given out that many books were kind of pushing books into my (and other people’s) arms. There are several I had never heard of before, but that I now look forward to.
I hope you’ll enjoy your new books, too, Jessica – and YES we gotta meet next time!!

  7. Your haul is FABULOUS Lexxie^^ I want to roll around it it LOL! Obviously I looked up your GR shelf because I wanted to see all the titles – not like I didn’t see them all already on your IG account…what can I say? XD

I’m especially interested in The Reader, GEMINA, Passenger (which I got last year and still haven’t gotten around to -THE SHAME!) and Heartless! Honestly though, I saw tons of new-to-me titles that look excellent too! Can’t wait to read your reviews for these^^ Enjoy your goodies my friend ♥

    • I wish I could just read them all first 😀 There are several I hadn’t heard of, but the people in the publisher booth totally sold them to me 🙂 And I was allowed three suitcases for my flight, so no shipping – just some heavy lifting 😀

  8. Nice haul at BEA! Gemina is the only book I didn’t get at that I would have like to have grabbed. I will have to look for your review! I hope you enjoy all of your new books!!

  9. That is an amazing haul and so many great books. It would be hard to decide on which one to read first. I saw your pictures on Instagram and BEA looks like so much fun. I hope to go in 2018. Happy reading!!

  10. wow! I’m so jealous! Firstly I would love to go there, secondly I never went to US and third, have you seen this amazing pile? I want them all!!!!!

    • Maybe one day, you’ll be able to go, too, Melliane? I had already been to the US plenty of times, which is nice, because I didn’t really get to see all that much of Chicago!
And yes, that pile *sighs* I’m so happy with it!

  11. I don’t even know how I’m going to do my BEA haul. I got excited and gave away a bunch of my middle grade books to my neighbor’s kids (so they get spread around the schools). The kids are good like that. That’s a great idea to do a Goodreads shelf, though!!! Oh the (fun) work you did 🙂

    Miss ya tons!

    • I was way too lazy to do a summary and link to each individual book on Goodreads as I usually do, Kristin. But I was able to scan maybe half my books to my shelves (with the GR app on my phone) and then I just added them to my newly made BEA-16 shelf 🙂 I have shelves for everything at Goodreads 😀 It helps me keep track of stuff.
I miss you, too!! How did those days pass by so fast?

  12. My haul will be showcased this weekend since I didn’t have time to put together a post for last weekend. :/ As I perused your stacks I got to thinking…there are a few in your stacks that I also have in mine and I’m feeling some buddy reading coming on! What do you think?!? It was so much fun to be at BEA with you…compare stacks and author chats and blogger meets and greets! It’s hitting me even more now, since my house is empty, how much I miss hanging out with you!! *sniff* I’m grateful that we got to though, wifey! **BIG HUGS**

    • Oh you know I love buddy reading with you, wifey! And I’m sure we’ll find many here we might want to read at the same time. I miss hanging out with you, too, Brandee! But at least we did get to spend almost a week together in May, and we’ll do it again next year! *BIG HUGS*
