Weekend Wrap-up #285 – More Beach, Family, and Fun!

Posted 12 July, 2019 by Linda @ (un)Conventional Bookworms in Memes, Wrap-up Posts / 21 Comments

Weekend Wrap-up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookworms and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer.

STS #285

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality is all about the latest additions to my library – virtual or actual, with books that are  bought, borrowed, won or ARCs  I will (probably) be reading soon. Without further ado, here’s what I added to my bloated shelves this past week:

The Sunday Post #225 – Weekend Wrap-up

Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.

We had another fantastic week of vacation in L’Estartit on Costa Brava in the north of Spain. We rented a boat for the morning on Friday, and went snorkeling – it was awesome! There are so many different kinds of fish, it’s really breath taking. We had a lot of fun, and I also got a lot of reading done…

Glad you’re having an amazing trip! And gasp! An EMPTY bookshelf? How is such a thing possible?! Lol.

  2. Wow, love that picture with the trees and the sky- looks beautiful there! And snorkeling sounds awesome. Glad you had a great week Lexxie! Enjoy!!! 🙂

  3. It sure looks like a bit of paradise where you were. The pictures are beautiful! Too bad you didn’t have one of those underwater cameras (then I could have seen the fish)

Your pictures are fantastic. I had to swallow for a second when I saw the Freddy picture sleeping in the empty bookshelf. I don´t know when´s the last time that I´ve seen an empty one 😉 Thanks for sharing them with us. Enjoy the rest of your vacation and happy reading.

  5. Your vacation sounds and looks marvelous! I’m glad you’re having a fun and restful time. But I’m surprised you were able to take the pups with you; I thought there were quarantines for animals traveling overseas?

I have been super busy, but having lots of fun these past three weeks – but I’ve not been checking in, so I hope all has been going well. Looks like you are having a blast. I’ve been the beach several days (we live 1/2 mile) now that the weather is hot. My son plays lacrosse, so last weekend and this weekend, we were away at tournaments. I’m beat, but now I have a week at home before I’m off to NYC for RWA! Phew!
