Weekend Wrap-up #286 – Spain, Sun and Fun

Posted 20 July, 2019 by Linda @ (un)Conventional Bookworms in Memes, Wrap-up Posts / 19 Comments

Weekend Wrap-up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookworms and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer.

STS #286

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality is all about the latest additions to my library – virtual or actual, with books that are  bought, borrowed, won or ARCs  I will (probably) be reading soon. Without further ado, here’s what I added to my bloated shelves this past week:

The Sunday Post #226 – Weekend Wrap-up

Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.

Yet another week in Spain for most of the family. The boys and Mr. Lex left to go back to Geneva on Thursday, so for another week, it’ll just be Ms. youngest, me, and the puppies.

We went to Girona for a little excursion on Monday, and we had a fantastic time! I’m feeling so relaxed, it’s hard to even know what day it is 😉

On a bridge in Girona, there are several over the river there – and it’s gorgeous! The puppies enjoyed the outing just as much as we did <3
Weekend Wrap-up - Sunset in l'Estartit - (un)Conventional Bookworms
Mr. Lex and I enjoyed another beautiful sunset <3

This Week’s Puppies in Action:

I don’t even know why we get them dog beds… or blankets… or anything else 😀

  1. Still need to read something by Sawyer Bennett and BB Easton. Your Spain trip sounds so amazing! That sunset looks beautiful!
Breakdown is a deep, raw, powerful, wonderful, dark story that will lure you in beyond what you’ll be prepared for. It’s filthy in a way you’ll be wanting more of. It stole my breath away, while at the same time, it gave me life!

Wow! It’s so pretty there! I’m dying for a vacation myself. The problem with that is I need a new job and a vacation will be unlikely to happen. As for right now, there’s nowhere I really want to go. If I end up being stuck here for a few more months, I’d rather save those days for some of the book events that happen in other states in the fall. It’s a conundrum for sure! Lol.

Nice new reads! Those are totally new to me ones. I hope you enjoy each and every one of them!

My StS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!

    Have a GREAT day!

OMG – that picture of you and hubby in front of the sunset is postcard worth and lovely! Always great to see pics of everyone having fun! That Praying For Rain looks interesting. Hugs, RO

  4. Glad to hear your vacation is having the desired effect – relaxation. Oooh, new Arizona Vengeance. I am a little behind on the series, but I hope to read the rest at some point.

  5. Wow, looks beautiful there! Glad you’re having a great time! I imagine the pups aren’t gonna want to leave. 🙂

  6. Glad you are having such a wonderful and relaxing time!! Everything I own is a dog bed. I’ve given up ownership of everything, including things I think are trash. Its a losing battle.

  7. Your holiday snaps are making me wish I was going away this summer too! I’m glad you’re having a good time.
Praying For Rain looks so good. I have it on my kindle, I just need time to read it. 🙂

  8. Thanks for sharing your vacation with us. And it’s always great when you are having such a fun time you lose track of what day it is! LOL

  9. What beautiful pictures Lexxie! What a beautiful sunset! I wish I could go to Spain. I think it’s wonderful that you’re spending quality time with your family on vacation. Wicked Angel and Dax look good! I love Sawyer Bennett!!! Have a great week! Happy Reading 🙂
