Bought, Bagged and Wrapping it Up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookviews and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews, Talk Supe and Caffeinated Reviewer.

The Sunday Post #115 – Weekend Wrap-up

Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.

Still battled my cold. Was very uninspired when it came to writing my thesis… I did send a pretty long e-mail explaining in detail what I want to say, and how to use the articles and other literature I have used for my research in order to do so. And I think that should be enough for now, and maybe the thesis-muse will come to me over the holidays… Hopefully, my prof will agree with me that it’s passable. I used to aim for perfect grades, but not anymore *sighs* I just want this to be over with!

It’s been a pretty busy week, with some last-minute calls for teaching, some visits with friends – one was even for a long walk with Freddy and my friend’s 4-month-old puppy. It was really nice to see the dogs together, so very cute.

This Week’s Freddy in Action:
Freddy, Ninja and Leo at the park 🙂

  1. You got some good ones in your book haul this week. I got accepted for Justice Ascending, too.

Very cute pups in the park pictures. 🙂

Hopefully the cold goes away soon and hopefully you get your writing mojo going for your thesis. Have a Merry Christmas, Lexxie!

  2. I want to read Nowhere but Here and some of the other ones look good to me too. Sorry you have a cold, hope it’s gone by Christmas, no fun being sick during the holidays. Do you have another dog besides Freddy?

Hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends Lexxie!

  3. Love that Eternity Cure cover. 🙂 I would think at holiday time it would be hard to concentrate on thesis writing. At least I know I would lol. Hopefully you feel better and hope your holidays are fabulous! The dogs look cute. 🙂

  4. How cute is that puppy!!! Ooh I love a cute puppy! I hope that Santa Paws is good to Freddy this year and that you all have a good Christmas. The Rebecca Zanetti series sounds interesting…I might need to check that out…

  5. OOoh very nice!! Liking the COYER books! I still need to finish Jennifer Estep’s series there too! And read A Promise of Fire!! So exciting! Sorry to hear about your cold and thesis troubles! Hopefully some holiday fun will cheer you up and banish that cold away! As always Freddy is adorable!! Happy Reading!

My STS will be up tomorrow, stop by then if you can!

    Have a GREAT day!

  6. Sorry to hear your thesis work is at a halt. I am sure the longer you mull it over, it will start to piece together as you wish. I am also still fighting off the ick. :/ I hope you feel better.

  7. The dogs look like they are trying to decide if they should like each other.

Good luck with your thesis…I can relate to wanting it to be over! I was finishing mine as I was also leaving my second husband, so that was challenging…LOL.

I’m curious about Julie Kagawa’s books, which I’ve been seeing everywhere. Enjoy all of your books, and the holidays ahead.

I’m so sorry to hear about your cold. That’s the pits when you still have a ton of stuff to do, and hope you feel better soon. Isn’t it great to get books as gifts? Friends clearly know your passion. Lori Foster – yes!!!! Hugs…RO

Great haul! I’ve been wanting to check out The Eternity Cure for a while. I’ve definitely had it on my shelf since it first came out because I LOVED The Immortal Rules. Happy reading and I hope you have a lovely holiday!
