Magic Bites is an excellent introduction to the Kate Daniels series. With a kick-ass, no-prisoners attitude, Kate is the kind of heroine I love reading about! In Her Wake is an emotional rollercoaster like only Tucker can write them! Meeting Cole before Ten Tiny Breaths was truly amazing, I loved seeing exactly how the accident happened, and how consumed with guilt and sorrow he was during several years. My In Her Wake review: The fact that Cole was the only one who survived the accident apart from Kacey really hit home on a whole other level when seeing the story unfold from his point of view. Fix You is a very short read, but there is a real story in there. And some parts of that story are really poignant and quite dark! Come Back took me totally by surprise, especially because Come didn’t completely do it for me. Harper and James are separated at the beginning of the story, because James has to pick up a ‘package’. And that ‘package’ turns out to be a person – Sasha whom I met in Slack. She’s a firecracker of a kid, and I love her. It was truly awesome to meet her again. Come is a dark, fast-paced and addictive read, in which Harper has to make some decisions about trust and her future. My Come review: Come is set in the same universe as the Rook & Ronin series, and the spin-off.
