Working as a cocktail waitress at one of Vegas’s hottest five-star casinos means putting up with a ton of bad behavior from the big spenders. But it pays the bills—and that’s all that matters to Aria, who needs every last dollar to escape from her father’s destructive grasp and the brutal man he expects her to marry. But when she lashes out against a billionaire who won’t take no for an answer, she nearly loses everything—until Sebastian steps in. The owner’s son and handpicked successor, Sebastian is dark, sexy, and kinder than any rich man should be. And when he apologizes and offers to keep her job safe, Aria can’t help the way her body reacts to his. Suddenly her job, and the security it brings her, isn’t the only thing Aria wants.
Play me Wild is the first installment in a hot serial about Cole and Aria, and I really enjoyed how Aria was willing to stand up for what was right, even at the cost of her job!
My Play Me Wild review:
Aria was trying everything she could to stay in control of her life, and it was easy to see that something has happened to her in the past to make her crave solitude and control right now. When a customer at the casino where she works starts to harass a customer, and neither the security guard, nor the dealer are willing to help, Aria steps up. And ends up losing her job. Play Me Wild showed me right from the start that I would at least enjoy Aria.
When Cole learned about what had happened, he was furious that Aria had been fired, rather than commended for the way she stepped in and got rid of the harasser. Play Me Wild is a very short story, but it definitely made me work up an appetite for more! I can’t wait to see where Cole and Aria’s story will lead me, because their chemistry is definitely made of hotness! And also, since it is written in dual points of view, both from Aria’s and Cole’s perspective, I can’t wait for their story to go to the next level.
Some of my favorite Play Me Wild quotes:
I pull the eye contact trick, but this guy is one of the rarest – and the worst – ones. He looks me straight in the eye and fucking gropes me again. I’m seeing red at this point, my hand itching to curl into a fist I can plow into his face. He’d look so much better with a broken nose. And a missing tooth or two.
On my way over, I stop by one of the security guards, nod in their direction. He takes a look, but then shrugs at me, like he has no idea what I expect him to do.
“There was a situation last night with one of the whales. he and one of the cocktail waitresses got into it and she ended up hitting him the balls with her drink tray.”
She hit him on the balls with a tray ?! I’d like to read that too, I love heroins who stand up for themselves and others 🙂
Yup, she definitely did! She was pretty awesome Iza 🙂
Thanks for stopping by.
Ive nominated you for an award 🙂 Check it out 🙂
@EverythingNyze
Thank you Nyze 🙂 That’s very nice of you. I don’t usually do the award things, I’m a lazy person like that, but really it’s cool that you thought of me!
Oh I forgot the link -> EverythingNyze
Sounds like a short story to try! Thanks, Lexxie 🙂
Yes, it’s short and quick, Sivlia. Thanks for stopping by.
Oh yes, I think Aria is someone I’m going to like as well! This is a serial I’m kinda jealous you’re reading first, Lexxie. I like the sound of it. It seems as though Wolff gave you enough character development to hook you into the story and that’s important. I can’t wait to see what you think of the rest of the story.
Happy Monday! *BIG HUGS*
LOL Aria was pretty awesome, Brandee. And you’re definitely going to enjoy this serial, I have given all of the books 4 stars. I just need to schedule the rest of the reviews so you can see that, too 😉
