Forever Wild brings the readers back to Alaska, in the midst of Christmas and a different kind of celebration for Calla and Jonah. With their families visiting from out of town, there are some frictions. However, the Christmas spirit is definitely present throughout this novella.
Romantic, tender, and with a dash of family drama, it will be a Christmas that will stay in their memories forever.
Forever Wild brought me back to Alaska, to Calla and Jonah and their merry bunch of family and neighbors.
Forever Wild is the perfect Christmas novella in my opinion. Calla and Jonah had family visiting for Christmas. Jonah’s mom and stepdad were there from Norway, and Calla’s mom and stepdad came from Toronto to celebrate with them.
Forever Wild has a lot of humor, but it also has complicated family relationships, the still beautiful romance, and all the intricacies of neighbors who have become a new family of sorts.
I loved how Calla and Jonah’s relationship has evolved since The Simple Wild, especially because in this story, they trust each other fully. They also know they can count on each other in any kind of situation.
As always, Tucker’s writing is beautiful. I felt like I was right there in Alaska with the characters. On top of that, it was such a pleasure to hang out with them all once more.

I like the watercolor finish of the cover, but I am guessing I have to ready The Simple Wild to comprehend this?
Yes, you should definitely read the two full novels that come before this novella, or you wouldn’t understand much of what is going on, Ailyn.
I love the sound of this one! I definitely need to add it to my TBR. I loved the first book. And I looooove Christmas 😀
You should also read the 2nd book before you read this one, Maureen. But if you loved the first book, I think the next books will also be winners for you.
I loved the first book so I’m excited to read this novella. I loved the Alaskan setting!
Have you read the 2nd book, Nick? If not, you should definitely read that, too, before you pick up this one 🙂
