Forever Wild brought me back to Alaska, to Calla and Jonah and their merry bunch of family and neighbors. Forever Wild is the perfect Christmas novella in my opinion. Calla and Jonah had family visiting for Christmas. Jonah’s mom and stepdad were there from Norway, and Calla’s mom and stepdad came from Toronto to celebrate with them. Forever Wild has a lot of humor, but it also has complicated family relationships, the still beautiful romance, and all the intricacies of neighbors who have become a new family of sorts. Wild at Heart is one of those sequels when you are amazed from start to finish – because it’s even better than the first book, and your heart is full. The character development in Wild at Heart is astounding. Both Calla and Jonah grow so much, and while I already loved them before, the way they grew made me love them even more!
