Accidentally on Purpose continues in the same vein as the prior Heartbreaker Bay books, and the romance made me melt into a puddle. This series is filled with feel-good romance, great friendships and off the chart chemistry! Accidentally on Purpose is sweet, quirky, hot and funny, I had a really good time getting to know Elle and Archer better. It was apparent in the prior books that they were reluctantly attracted to each other, and that they were both holding back. Oh man! Taking Turns is dark. And addictive. And enticing. And twisted. And mysterious. And sexy. And so very complex and complicated. Taking Turns made me a little uneasy before I picked it up. Don’t You Cry is a deliciously creepy, mysterious tale, where the plot only fully unfolds at the very end of the story. At first, I had a little bit of trouble getting into the story of Don’t You Cry (and for the whole time, I had Axl Rose singing in my mind…) because it was quite slow, and one of the narrators was a little… hmm how should I say it?… dense. Review: Max – Saywer Bennett

Max is hands down the most swoony of the hockey players in Cold Fury Hockey, like a knight in shining armour, but with a wicked humor. I think Max wins the book boyfriend of the year prize for 2016 (as I read this last year). He was so amazing, he met a woman he found intriguing, and wasn’t scared by the fact that she was raising three young children on her own – having two jobs to make ends meet.
