Review: Scored – Sloane Howell

Scored follows a baseball star and a hot indie records store seller, they have met more than once through their best friends, and their chemistry is sizzling hot. Story: Kelsey and Matt showed up in Bossed, and I enjoyed them immensely as side characters. Somehow, I enjoyed them a little less as main characters in Scored. I think it was because both of them kept second-guessing themselves quite a bit, and while I can understand some of that, it also kind of got old. The Rules of Magic is a melancholy tale, spanning over the sixties and up until the present time, following three siblings who had to follow some very strict rules when they were young. Story: I enjoyed The Rules of Magic both because it is a great story that can stand on its own, and because it brought some important insight into the world of Practical Magic. Mr. and Mrs. is the perfect ending to the Mister series, it was fun, a little mysterious and a lot romantic. I got to see my favorite Five in his element.
