COYER Winter 2014 - (un)Conventional Bookviews

COYER Winter Challenge 2014-2015

I’m pretty excited today, because today is the start of the new COYER challenge, and I love being able to clean out my e-reader as much as possible. I have created a COYER shelf on Goodreads, with all the books I can use for this challenge, and my, oh my do I have many books I am allowed to read between today and March 6th!

I’m sure you all know our hosts, Michelle of Because Reading is Better than Real Life, and Berls of Fantasy is More Fun. I have linked to the sign-up posts on their blogs, in case you haven’t had a chance to do your own sign-up yet, or if you hadn’t decided until right this minute that you really want to participate in all the COYER fun as well 😉 There will be different challenges during the period COYER is going on, and I am hosting a mini-challenge from January 5th through January 23rd, where I challenge every participant to read three Historical Romances in three weeks! Each week, I will do a giveaway where the prize is a historical romance novel I really enjoyed myself, and at the end of the three weeks, a grand prize winner will win THREE historical romances. The giveaway will be open internationally, and the books will be in kindle format, because that way I won’t have any delivery charges to pay. Look at the beautiful logo Michelle made for me 🙂 I think it encompasses HR very well!

As I already said, there will be a lot of fun things going on during COYER, we have a Facebook Group, there will be Twitter chats, some blogs are hosting mini-challenges and giveaways, and we visit each other to check out reviews and get to know each other better. The best thing is that you don’t have to have a blog to participate, you only need to post your reviews somewhere on the internet, like Goodreads, Booklikes, Leafmarks or somewhere else I haven’t thought about. We can only use cheap or free books to count towards the challenge. ARCs and Blogtour ARCs can be used, if they were received before today. If you prefer listening to audiobooks, that’s possible too, but there’s a price limit on those as well – we’re supposed to clean out our virtual shelves because we all tend to add too many books when they are free, or almost.

I really hope you’re going to join us for this challenge – I have participated several times already, and between being able to make a dent in my e-books and having lots of fun with other bloggers, COYER has always been a success for me!
