COYER Deserted Island Read-a-Thon Wrap-up

COYER Deserted Island Read-a-Thon:

As you might remember, I signed up to the COYER Deserted Island Read-a-thon a couple of weeks ago, and I was a little afraid I wasn’t going to be able to read three books in two weeks. Not because I don’t read fast – but because I have this thing about not wanting to read books as soon as I make a list. Yeah, it feels like someone is making me read a book if it’s on a list.

I made it, however! I did read my three books, and I have to say I’m a little proud of myself ๐Ÿ˜€

COYER Deserted Island Read-a-Thon – Books I Read:

I read Mrs. Everything by Jennifer Weiner, and I loved it! It was so well done – following two sisters over several decades starting in the 50s.

Then, I read Small Kingdoms & Other Stories by Charlaine Harris. I hadn’t read any Harris books in a long time, and this was definitely different. There are four short stories centered around the same main character – Anne DeWitt. And she’s really something, let me tell you ๐Ÿ˜‰

And finally, I read Twice in a Blue Moon by Christina Lauren. And that was yet another win for me. I absolutely loved it. Second chance at love, intrigue, paparazzi…. My review will go live next week.

Did you participate in the read-a-thon? Did you manage to read all the books you had planned on reading?

Way to go finishing your list books! I get the same way about lists so this was a tough readathon for me, too, but made it through my picks just this morning. ๐Ÿ™‚
You have me curious about that Charlaine Harris now. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • I know, I’m actually a little surprised ๐Ÿ˜€ I’m glad you made it through your picks, too, Sophia.
The Charlaine Harris book is four short stories about the same main character, and I really loved it! Very well done ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. WTG!!! I finished the 2 on my list and my plan for tomorrow is to pile up all the books stacked around the house to see what I want to read for the next round. I’m also bad about lists, but I think putting them all in a pile should help ๐Ÿ˜‰
