COYER 2021 is a supercharged COYER where reading books is important, but so is being a part of the wonderful COYER community.

It’s that time of the year again – when challenges abound, and we have to make some decisions about which ones we are going to participate in next year. COYER is definitely a no-brainer for us, as we’ve participated in every COYER challenge since the beginning. And we have found some truly wonderful blogger and bookish friends thanks to it. Of course, while originally the challenge is supposed to clean out your e-reader, we have added at least as many books as the ones we’ve read during prior challenges.
This time around, the challenge has changed a little bit. It will run all through the year for one. And there will be both seasonal challenges and community challenges. We love that Michelle and Berls are branching out a little bit. And we love that the challenge will run for the whole year, all the while having specific mini-challenges as well. You can find the rules if you click on the image at the top of this post, as it links to the official sign-up post.
COYER can be used with connection to other challenges as well – for example our very own 2021 New Release Challenge, or if you participate in an ARC challenge or something similar, your read books could count towards more than one challenge with ease.
If you’re new to this challenge, we urge you to sign up, there’s a pretty active Facebook group, there’s a bookclub, and there is just so much fun to be had by all.

COYER is one of my favorite challenges, and the one (apart from ours) that I keep doing every single year.
