Weekend Wrap-up – Summer Time

Weekend Wrap-up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookworms and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer.

STS #319

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality is all about the latest additions to my library – virtual or actual, with books that are  bought, borrowed, won or ARCs  I will (probably) be reading soon. Without further ado, here’s what I added to my bloated shelves this past week:

The Sunday Post #259 – Weekend Wrap-up

Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.

This week was mostly nice and mellow! Which is something I really needed. On Thursday, a book-friend came from Zurich to spend the day with me in Geneva, and we had a great day! I showed her around, we chatted, and of course, books came up more than once 🙂

This Week’s Puppies in Action:

Puppies on a walkabout
Hercules and Freddy on a little walkabout 🙂

Did you get some good books last week? What have you been up to this past week? Thanks for stopping by, I hope you’re enjoying your weekend, and that next week will be filled with awesome! Stay safe and healthy, and remember your mask 😉

Oh nice! I miss chatting in person with people about books. I would do this all the time when I got to go to signings. Really hoping the world can get back to normal soon. I miss my book people! Lol.

Nice new reads! Lots of them this week! I hope you enjoy them all!

My StS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!

    Have a GREAT day!

That is so good when you can really get some down time to let the tension go and just relax. Yay for a fun visit. Look at those canine explorers!

A new Sawyer Bennett. Enjoy your book haul and your upcoming week, Linda!

  3. Glad you’ve had a chance to unwind – you deserve it! And I’ve also treated myself to Peace Talks – I hope you enjoy it:))

You deserve the break and I am glad you had it slow! I am missing meeting my bookish friends and chatting about books. Sigh. Stay safe!

  5. I love meeting book friends in real life! I’m glad you had fun! It looks like the pups also had a lot of fun!! Happy reading and have a wonderful week!

Sounds like the perfect week! Down time and book friends! Looks like you got some good reads too – Avery Flynn and Sawyer Bennet are always a treat.

Have a great week and stay safe! Hugs! ❤️

  7. Love those puppies! I need to find book friends in the area because I have none and no one to talk books with. We need to do a zoom or something like a friend chat with wine! 🙂

Have a great week, Linda! Give those puppies a squeeze for me! Happy Reading! xx

Summers are meant for mellow! I’m enjoying the slower pace due to COVID! and PEACE TALKS!! Finally!!! I hope you enjoy it.

  9. Hurrah for a mellow week! I could do with one of those. Looks like a good book haul — I keep meaning to try the Dresden Files again someday…
