The Sunday Post #265 – Weekend Wrap-up
Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.
Oh my gosh, this week was so very busy! It was hard going back to work after two and a half weeks off. I was exhausted after just a few days, and so happy it’s the weekend again! It was still a good week, though. On Friday, I went on a long walk with a good friend I haven’t seen in a long time, brought the dogs and we had a nice time. It’s the safest way to spend time together, and it felt good to just chat and hang out. When I got back home, though, the dogs were filthy, so I was really happy they both love to take showers 😀

Wow! Sounds like a busy week, glad you were able to unwind this weekend! Yeah, January is always the hardest month to get through. Last week was rough for me, this week was still rough but not as bad, but next week might change back to really rough! Lol.

Yeah unwinding is definitely a must these days. Especially because most things I would usually do for unwinding isn’t possible this year. Going out with friends, or just hanging out together is not a project I think we’ll be able to do for a while.

I used to struggle coming back to work after long holiday breaks and was always so glad to have Martin Luther King Day off barely two weeks later. 🙂

Yeah, it’s definitely hard, but it’s also nice to get back into a routine somehow. We don’t have MLK day, so we have to wait until the middle of February for winter break, but it’s only four weeks, so it should be OK.

Yeah, it was, and the walk was so nice. It was also amazing to see my friend again, we hadn’t seen each other since last summer, as we’re not in the same bubble… so we figured outside would be OK while still distancing.

Even though it was busy, at least you don’t have to go to school also. That has to be such a satisfying relief. Love the puppies! It’s great they get along so well.

Yes… returning after a long break is always surprisingly stressful – and much harder in the current circumstances. So glad you were able to go on a walk and catch up with a good friend! That is worth so much… I hope the coming week is a good, relatively peaceful one, Linda:)
Hooray for the week-end ! I’m not back to work yet but I’m not very eager myself. We had a long walk in the snow yesterday, I ‘m sending it your way so that you can have some fluffy white too – the dogs will love it ^^ My cats were looking out the window but felt the snow was too cold and wet for their taste. I hope this week will be more relaxed, bisous 🙂
LOL we got some snow last night, but it’s almost all melted already. I would like some more fluffy white, so thanks for sending me some, Iza 🙂 The dogs just came back from a walk now, and need a shower again 😀

Ooh, I like Rich Amooi! And I read and enjoyed that book. Hope the audio is good as well. I love the doggie pictures! My boy Argyle had to go have surgery today for a perineal and to get neutered, but I’ve heard back and he’s okay. Just have to go pick him up this afternoon. Have a great week!
