My Thirsty Thursday and Hungry Hearts quote for this week is from my current read, Three Hours (Seven #5) by Dannika Dark, and this time it’s actually the guy and the gesture that got to me, rather than the cake 😉 :
Lexie sliced another piece of white cake and put it on a pink paper plate.
He drew his index finger into his mouth and sucked of a slather of white icing.

The books I’m reading now really have lots of good food and they make me hungry! Have you read the elemental assassin series by Jennifer Estep? The main character has a BBQ restaurant, in addition to being a good cook for fun. Yesterday she was talking about this cherry pie and I suddenly wanted pie! Not for my diet! Lol!
Cherry pie is so yummy, Berls! I can’t wait for my cherry-tree to first have blooms, then cherries 🙂 I haven’t read the elemental assassin series yet, it’s hiding somewhere on my TBR, but knowing there’s a lot of good food mentioned just might make me push it up a bit 🙂
