The Sunday Post #32 – Weekly Wrap-up
Welcome to my Sunday Post. Thank you to Kimba over at The Caffeinated Reviewer, who is hosting this weekly event. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.
I arrived back from Dallas and an intense and fun week at RT15 on Monday evening. It’s taken me more or less the whole week to feel like I’m in the right time zone, I’m just so tired! Especially because I had to go to work on Tuesday morning… luckily my students were happy to see me again, and they were very nice, quiet and hard-working.

Elsewhere in the Blogosphere:
Most notable for me this week is that the COYER sign-ups for the summer challenge are live with Stormi, Berls and Michelle.
Also, Felicia @ The Geeky Blogger has a post up about blogtour companies and how they communicate with bloggers.
What have you been up to this past week? Don’t forget to leave me a link so I can come visit your Sunday Post as well.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you’ve enjoyed your weekend, and that next week will be filled with awesome!

I bet the time difference is hard to get over.
I think I’m more or less back to normal, now, Jennifer 🙂 Which is definitely a good thing!
Jet lag is the worst! At least it was from something that was pretty awesome – Have a wonderful week!
True, the jetlag is definitely worth spending a fun week with other bloggers, as well as some amazing authors 🙂
I loved Felicia’s post about the book tour lady also. Have a good week!
Yes, that was a very good post, it’s amazing how some people think it’s OK to tell us how to deal with our hobby 🙁
I just read your wrap up post (loved the pics) and it looked like you had a great time. I’m glad you got over the jetlag and your students didn’t give you too hard a time!
Deb
I definitely had a great time, Deb 🙂 It was so much fun.
Ah jet lag- no fun. I’m glad to see COYER back too- be fun this time.
I know, COYER during the summer is always fun, and the scavenger hunt will be great, too 🙂
Great wrap-up post with some fun pictures. I can see now why you are tired. LOL I bet you are happy for the long weekend:)
Yes, I guess I have other reasons than jet-lag for being tired 😉

Oh the jet-lag is no fun 🙁 I am glad you didn’t fall asleep at work lol
So excited about COYER, I need to check out everyones sign up posts. This is going to be a lot of fun this time around 🙂
Have a great week Lexxie! oxox
LOL I can’t imagine how bad it would have been to fall asleep in front of my class, Michelle! I haven’t written my sign up post for COYER yet, but I will, probably next week 🙂
Have a great week yourself!
I am glad you had a good time at RT. I am thinking of going to the next one. I am not big on crowds though and the last conf I went to kind of ticked me off.
My husband has just gotten back from Austria so we’re all about jet lag here today!
I hope you’ll be able to make it to RT next year, Steph! There is a lot of people, but it’s manageable for the most part.
I can imagine it can take a while to get used to the different time zone again, it’s probably a big time difference between here and the US. That’s good to hear your student where happy to see you again and worked hard. I hope you have a great week!
I think I’m almost back to normal now, Lola, but yes, seven hours difference is definitely a lot.
I loved the idea of the Thirsty Thursday and Hungry Hearts event…I’ll be checking it out!
Nowhere But Here is also tempting me….
Enjoy your week…and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
YAY, Laurel-Rain, I’m always happy when someone else is interested in the Thirsty Thursday and Hungry Hearts 🙂 Have a great week yourself 🙂
Hi Lexxie,
It sounds like a busy week! At least you can relax a bit now? Definitely sounds worth it though 😀 I’m glad you enjoyed the trip.
Take care,
Amy x
Yes, that trip was the trip of all trips, Amy! It was amazing, and so, jetlag was definitely worth it 🙂
Hi Lexxie,
Thank you for all your help! 🙂 I appreciate it. It was actually very useful. Looking at your Sunday Post I see what you mean about using it for the memes as well, I think it’d save a lot of time to do it this way so I’m going to look into it like you suggested 🙂
Thank you again,
Happy reading!
Amy x
Thanks for a great post, it sounds like you have had a busy week! I’m going to hop over to The Geeky Blogger too, her post sounds like it’ll be worth a read.
Heather @ Random Redheaded Ramblings
Yes, Heather, I hope you’ll enjoy her post as much as I did. Thanks for stopping by.
I read Felicia’s post and was appalled that a publicist actually wrote such a post. I still can’t get over how rude it was. I need to get my COYER sign up post written and up, thanks for the reminder!
I know, right? Rude and completely overstepping, too. I think most of us have a blog so that we can do whatever we want to do on our little piece of the internet, so really, to have someone tell us what we ‘have to’ do (or not do) is galling.
Glad you had a great time and recovered from jet lag. Love the Kate Daniels series.
Thank you Nise’ 🙂 Have a fantastic week!

Glad you had a great time and I bet it will take a few days to get back to normal. 🙂
Thanks, Stormi! I hope I’ll be able to meet up with you at a con one day!
It’s nice to go to work and see that you were missed! Good to have you back!
Naomi @ Naomi’s Reading Palace
Thanks Naomi 🙂 It is good to be back, too 🙂
Nice to hear that you had a blast at the RT. I saw the photos and I was so jealous. Haha! Have a great week ahead ♥
Ooh sorry about the jet lag, but I’m glad you are feeling better and your students worked well on Tuesday. I’m about to head out to NYC for BEA on Wednesday, so I’m excited for that…but it will be weird going back to work, etc. next week.
I’m glad your body has more or less settled back into your time zone. But I’m not sorry you came to Dallas! 😉 Ooh, I wanted to tell you – I scanned my RT books onto an RT15 shelf in GR! That’s was fantastic! And I did a major shift on my library shelves so I could fit in all my new books. I’m so proud of myself. My books are already neatly put away. *haha*
