      I discovered some of these in an e-mail from Netgalley, and I thought the premise sounded really interesting 🙂 Victoria Dahl is one of my favorite authors, and I troll netgalley and elsewhere for her books constantly 😀

    I read Poison Study a few years back and thought it was a decent read, despite not being my usual genre. It was well written with good characters. I didn’t continue with it as I didn’t like the blurb for book two. Hope you enjoy it and your other books!

    I’ve owned a copy of Poison Study for years now I think, and I have yet to read it. Sigh. I know I’ll love it too! Hopefully, you’ll read it soon and motivate me to get going already LOL!       Ha! I know that feeling, Micheline. I think I’d get panicked if I started looking at the purchase date of many of the books hiding on my kindle. Maybe I will get to read Poison Study soon, and that will make you need it, too 😉

    I’m really curious about the Kim Harrison novella. I’m not sure how I feel about the crossover. Those two worlds don’t feel like they were ever meant to be together. I bought Confessions too, but I haven’t read it yet. I’m trying to stick to reading for the TBR challenge. The others sound interesting too.

    You have some mighty-fine looking books on your list this week, Lexxie. I, of course, got Prince of the Playhouse as well and I can’t wait to read it! And chat with you about it! 🙂 I’m excited you got the new ones from Dahl and Harrison! There’s only one on your list that makes me mutter under my breath…you’ll figure out which one and why soon… o_O
