Oceanside brings real problems, real heartache, and real relationships to the surface. Because of the way these subjects were treated, I was totally immersed in the story, as it made the characters very real to me. In Flight is a light story, but heavy on the BDSM, with characters that kept their distance emotionally, even from me… In Flight is the first story in Up in the Air, and I was quite intrigued by the way Bianca observed James and vice versa. James appeared like a man who knew what he wanted, and then went after it. Bianca was cool and collected – except when it came to James. Atheists Who Kneel and Pray is a love story, but it’s also much more than that. Self-discovery sounds like a cliché, and this story was so far from a cliché I can’t really use that to describe it. Where Have All the Scoundrels Gone was a delightful tale of three cousins, a scheming Dowager aunt, and three young women who thought they had given up on love. Sprinkled with Cummings humor, the characters moved the story forward with romance and wooing. Where Have All the Scoundrels gone was such a fun read, the three cousins all thought they were smarter than their dowager aunt, who had assembled twenty young debutantes for them to woo and marry as soon as possible.
