COYER 2022 Sign-up
If you know our blog, you know that COYER is part of our traditions. We have been participating since the very first COYER, which has led us to have many more bookish friends. And we’ve had the pleasure of meeting some of them at least once in our life. Hopefully, 2022 will be gentle, and we’ll be able to meet up with our bookish friends again in real life. At least, hanging out with our COYER friends virtually – like in the Facebook group – helps us having discussions with like-minded people.
The COYER rules are up already at Because Reading is Better than Real Life, and the two other blogs that are co-hosting the challenge with Michelle and Berls.
Basically, there are two types of COYER challenges this year, one is for the whole year, and there are also seasons with stricter rules, as well as sub-challenges in three semesters, and even an Instagram COYER challenge in July.
Most of the time, COYER is about reading e-books that were free or almost free (no more than $3) so that we can clean out those e-readers. However, the community, the friendships, and the bookclub have all become an integral part of this challenge as well. And we really love that.
We’re not going to set a specific goal, but Linda already has a COYER 2022 shelf on Goodreads to keep track of her reads, and as soon as Brandee makes hers, we’ll add it to this post as well.

I haven’t ever participated in the Coyer challenge but that is mostly because I never catch it until it’s almost over haha So I will have to look into signing up for the right time so I can participate.
You can sign up now, and do both the seasons and the year long challenge, Renée. It’s really fun and laid back for the year long challenge, and a little more difficult for the seasons 🙂
COYER is fabulous and I think I heard about it through you both and Lola. It will be another fun year, I’m sure. 🙂
