If you haven’t lived under a rock lately, you know that Colleen Hoover’s smash-hit novel Confess has been made into a TV show with the mobile app Go90. And my gosh, the first two episodes were totally glorious!
The actors playing Auburn and Owen are amazing and frankly so are all the other important characters! I loved the first episode for the art show and the confessions. And, of course, the first meeting between Auburn and Owen. The first art show was so well done, and I loved both the paintings and the confessions.
In the first episode, we first saw what happened between Auburn and her boyfriend who was in the hospital. I kind of didn’t feel like she was ten years younger back then, so while that scene was definitely important, especially for the part of the audience who hadn’t read the books, it was very short. If I remember, correctly, though, as readers, we didn’t get that connection until much later.
We also learned that Owen’s dad was not the nicest person in the world, as he was totally pushing Owen around.
In the second episode, we learned that Auburn had a son, and that he didn’t live with her. Basically, she had no say in her son’s upbringing, because he was living with his grandma. And while Owen’s dad kind of grated on my nerves, I have to say the grandma got all my antennas going in the wrong direction. So that was extremely good acting.
I truly enjoyed all the feelings that shone through in these first two episodes, as they really reminded me of all the feels I had reading the book! And Colleen Hoover had a cameo appearance!!
The rest of the episodes will air on April 4th, so make sure you have some spare time. It is so worth it! So far, this show gets five solid stars from me. You can watch the trailer here, and start forming your own opinion ๐

I want to see if I have the channel is will be on, or the stream I should say. Did you see her post yesterday about it not being picked up but it was a joke for April Fools day. I think everyone on her post had a heart attack lol. Glad you liked it, I plan to check it out.
It’s on a mobile app, Michelle, so you can definitely watch it anywhere in the US. I found it very easy to get the app to work, and I absolutely loved it ๐ I sure hope you will, too ๐
I skimmed your review because I haven’t read the book yet. I know. I know. I’ve had it since Christmas but I’ve been trying to knock out my neglected books before reading my new pretties. It sounds like they’re doing a great job on the show. I can’t wait to start watching it.
You can totally watch the show and then read the book if you’d like, Kristin. There are quite a bit of differences between the two, even if the overall feel is the same ๐
I have been living under a rock because I had no idea. I haven’t read the book yet but do hope to someday. I wonder what other kinds of things I am completely unaware of.
I’m happy you enjoyed the first couple of episodes, Lexxie. Is there any way that I can still watch them? And the episodes airing tomorrow…can I watch them later as well? I don’t know how to watch something on this app? You know I’m technically challenged! HELP!!! ๐
Happy Monday, darling! 4 weeks!! ๐ LOVE & {{{BIG HUGS}}}
I haven’t read this one. I’m glad the first two episodes were done well though! It’s an interesting way to release the show. ๐

I watched the first one on Sunday and loved it. It was fun seeing her cameo appearance! I totally need to go back to watching. I thought it was really close to the book as well. 5 stars from me so far!
Hi. Do you know if it’s possible to see the series outside of the US.
I have seen some people who have found it on YouTube. I used an app to put my location in the US… as that is something that is not illegal where I live. I hope you’ll be able to find a way to watch it, Susanne!
