Weekend Wrap-up #348 – Dry, sunny weather

Posted 12 March, 2022 by Linda @ (un)Conventional Bookworms in Memes, Wrap-up Posts / 12 Comments

Weekend Wrap-up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookworms and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer.

STS #348

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality is all about the latest additions to my library – virtual or actual, with books that are  bought, borrowed, won or ARCs  I will (probably) be reading soon. Without further ado, here’s what I added to my bloated shelves this past week:

The Sunday Post #277 – Weekend Wrap-up

Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.

It’s been another sunny, dry week, and it’s still cold at night, so we can’t really water our yard properly. It’s nice to see the sun, of course, however, we really need some rain.

On Tuesday this week, child #3 celebrated his 20th birthday, so we had a very nice dinner at home, hanging out together celebrating him. I can’t believe how fast time flies, though.

This weekend, we have a hockey game (both my boys play together), and my oldest daughter is here for the weekend, too. It’s nice to have all my chicklets under the same roof, that doesn’t happen very often anymore…

This Week’s Puppies in Action:

Freddy looks like he’s not happy with me taking a pic <3

Did you get some good books last week? What have you been up to this past week? Thanks for stopping by, I hope you’re enjoying your weekend, and that next week will be filled with awesome!

Glad you had some family time this weekend! That’s always nice! Especially after all the chaos of the last two years.

Nice new reads! Those are all new to me ones but I hope you enjoy each and every one of them!

My StS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!

    Have a GREAT day!

So nice that you were able to spend time with your family. I also have Wedding Season, it sure looks good.

  3. How nice you got to celebrate your son’s anniversary with him. My anniversary is tomorrow. It’ll just be me and my husband, but I’m okay with that. 🙂 I hope you have a good week!

Fun haul of books. I tried Erica Ridley for the first time last year. Yay for a visit with all the kids at home. Ah, Freddy does look a bit demure. 🙂

  5. Happy birthday to child #3!! And sounds like you have a nice weekend with everyone being home- hope it was awesome! 🙂

Yea for having all the kiddos home. My oldest will be heading off to school in the fall, and that will be a big shock to the system for me. We had a good week here – weather is crazy… 60F one day, snowing the next! We changed the clocks (daylight savings) and now it’s lighter in the evening and I can walk later, so that is good.

Happy belated birthday to your son. They grow way too fast, don’t they? Franky is going to be 22 next month and I just don’t even know how that happened. Dante is 2 and I already feel it speeding by too fast too. How nice to have the whole family together though! I’m sure that was wonderful. I hope you’re having a great week. Miss you <3
