Weekend Wrap-up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookworms and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer.
STS #343
Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality is all about the latest additions to my library – virtual or actual, with books that are bought, borrowed, won or ARCs I will (probably) be reading soon. Without further ado, here’s what I added to my bloated shelves this past week:
The Sunday Post #272 – Weekend Wrap-up
Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.
This was a pretty chill week – apart from all the parties with colleagues and former fellow students 😀 On Tuesday, I went to Basel with a friend to see the Banksy exposition, and we had a great day!
On Wednesday, it was graduation, and it was so nice to see all the happy, dressed-up students getting their diploma so they can be on the way to the next stage of their life. Some of them came to see me afterwards to compliment me on my classes, which was nice, especially because I really think it’s truthful when they won’t even be in that school again next year.
This weekend it’s my youngest’s 16th birthday, so my oldest will come here for the weekend. It’s going to be nice to have them all under the same roof for a few days.
This Week’s Puppies in Action:
Did you get some good books last week? What have you been up to this past week? Thanks for stopping by, I hope you’re enjoying your weekend, and that next week will be filled with awesome!
Oh nice! Glad you had a good trip! And that graduation went well too!
Nice new reads! Those are new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them all!
My StS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!
Have a GREAT day!

It was such a fun day, Jessica. Thanks for stopping by.
The Banksy exposition must’ve been awesome. I think it was also in Belgium once but I couldn’t make it.
I was actually a tiny bit disappointed in the exhibition, it was very small. I went to another one in Amsterdam a few years ago, and I adored it. I mean, it was still Banksy, but there were less than 20 pieces to look at and read about.
I hope you’ll be able to catch one someday, too.

Yay for a nice trip, adding books to your TBR and family time with everyone home. I hope you get to just relax this summer. I see Freddie & Hercules are taking lessons from Lulu. You can check it out in my Sunday post tomorrow.
Anne – Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
It was a fun week for sure, Anne. And it’s so nice to have everyone here, even if it’s just for the weekend. The kids all went out yesterday – we went with them for dinner, then we left the among themselves, and I think they had a great time.
That would be special to have the graduates come and thank you for your teaching. Fun to have all the kids home at the same time. Enjoy your week!
Yeah, that made me feel really good. Because he could have just walked past me and not said anything at all.
Sounds like you had a really lovely week, Linda. I am so pleased, as I know it can be a stressful run down to the end of the summer term! My own week was a blur of work, sleep and football! We still have two and half weeks till the end of term for schools in the UK! Take care and happy reading in the coming week and month ?
The end of the summer term is definitely very busy, I’m happy it’s behind me now. Good luck on your last two weeks, Jessica.
Thank you! ?
It sounds like it’s been a wonderful week, Linda – and especially lovely to have the family back together again. That’s the snag when they grow up, those occasions become increasingly rare… And how lovely to see your students graduate and spread their wings:)).
It has been very nice, Sarah. Thanks for stopping by.
It’s great to enjoy graduation ceremonies again, isn’t it? The comments from students are the great part of it all.
Enjoy your week and your books, and thanks for visiting my blog.
It sure is! And it’s nice to see the students all together, all dressed up and happy 🙂
Sounds you enjoyed your week very well. Have a great summer and happy reading.
Thanks Vi!
Love the pups in action pic as usual! I started my own TikTok account for my blog, and so far I’ve pretty much only posted videos of my dogs. lol I need to read that series by Sawyer Bennett. I’ve liked the other books I’ve read by her. Have a great week!

I requested The Poison Heart from the library. It sounds so good with the gothic & magical elements! My oldest turned 16 a couple months ago. We’ve been busy with driving lessons for her this summer. Stressful, but fun. 🙂 Enjoy your new books!
How nice that you had students come compliment you after graduation—you’re definitely right that those feelings must be sincere. No reason to give false compliments when you’re on your way out the door! 🙂
My nephew had a graduation party this weekend too. They live on the other side of the US and I don’t fly so I just saw pictures of the graduation.
I always love your puppy photos! And I hope you treasure those complments on your teaching. That means you really impacted their lives or thinking for the better in some way.
Happy birthday to your youngest! And enjoy your new books, especially This Poison Heart. It’s on my want-to-read list, so I look forward to seeing what you think of it.
Oh have a wonderful celebration! And that’s so awesome your students thanked you. That must be one of the rewarding things about teaching. 🙂
Having family together is awesome- hope youe time with them is great!!

What a great week – time to celebrate the end of the semester is always nice. And genuine compliments from students ?. I hope you have a great time with the family and celebrating! Hugs ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
It sounds like you had a nice week! Happy Birthday to your youngest! And how nice of the students to come forward and tell you how much they enjoyed your classes.
I am really curious about This Poison Heart. I keep hearing good things about it.
Have a great week and enjoy your family time. 🙂
The Poison Heart looks interesting. Happy reading and family time.
Yea for summer!! And Happy Birthday to your youngest. My youngest will be turning 16 in April. We will be starting driver’s training with her in the fall. I’m not ready for my baby to be so “old.”
