Waiting on Wednesday - (un)Conventional Bookviews

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by Jill of Breaking the Spine. This meme is a place to showcase a book we’re really looking forward to with bated breath! A new release in our favorite series, an exciting new title from a favorite author…

Waiting on Wednesday #5 – The Witch With No Name (The Hollows #13) – Kim Harrison

The Witch With No Name cover - (un)Conventional Bookviews

Rachel Morgan’s come a long way from the clutzy runner of Dead Witch Walking. She’s faced vampires and werewolves, banshees, witches, and soul-eating demons. She’s crossed worlds, channeled gods, and accepted her place as a day-walking demon. She’s lost friends and lovers and family, and an old enemy has become something much more.

But power demands responsibility, and world-changers must always pay a price. That time is now.

To save Ivy’s soul and the rest of the living vampires, to keep the demonic ever after and our own world from destruction, Rachel Morgan will risk everything.

Why is The Witch With No Name my Waiting on Wednesday pick this week, you ask? The Hollows is my all time favorite series! I love Rachel, I love how she has grown through this series, and how much more confident she is now than she was in the beginning. The whole cast of characters are extremely well done, and the story-arc is nothing short of amazing! So there, now you know 🙂

Thanks for stopping by, have a fantastic Wednesday! Don’t forget to leave me a link in your comment so I can come and check out your Waiting on Wednesday post, too.

    • It is truly great, Naomi! I can’t wait to see how you’re going to breeze through it 🙂

      Thanks for stopping by.

    • Sometimes, it’s really nice to keep a few books at hand, that way you’ll be completely immersed in the universe of Rachel, Ivy, Jenks and the others, Adina 🙂

      Thanks for stopping by.

  1. EEEP! I cannot believe the series is almost over! I remember when I first started it around book 2’s release because I picked that up thinking it was a first in series! And now it’s almost over! Still elated that it comes out this year, but it’s a bittersweet elatment–although I don’t think that’s a word! 😉

  2. I only started reading this series in July last year, but I love it so much! And I agree, it’s definitely bittersweet, Jessica.

    Thanks for stopping by.

    • I agree, the end of a series, especially one that just kept getting better is very bitter-sweet!
Thanks for stopping by, Grace 🙂

    • Rachel is a great witch, Holly! I hope you’ll enjoy her and all her friends (and enemies).

I actually own the first book but I haven’t gotten around to reading it – seeing that though will definitely bump it up my list!
