Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by Jill of Breaking the Spine. This meme is a place to showcase a book we’re really looking forward to with bated breath! A new release in our favorite series, an exciting new title from a favorite author…
Waiting on Wednesday #25 – The Hellsblood Bride
Yeah, the Mookie Pearl book by Chuck Wendig was one of my favorites of last year, and I can’t wait to delve back into this weird universe agian.
The Hellsblood Bride (Mookie Pearl #2) – Chuck Wendig
Yes, we’re going back deep underground for another twelve rounds with Mookie Pearl. Father, barkeep, former Mafioso, ruler of his subterranean crime-kingdom. The Organization is back, and they’ll do anything to get Mookie on board, but Mookie has gone legit, and it’s taking every ounce of effort for him to keep his new bar from crashing and burning. To top it all, his daughter is missing, and when Nora’s not in plain sight, that’s usually a sign of bad things to come! On one hand, the Organization. On the other, Nora. Why can’t Family ever be easy – ?
Thanks for stopping by, have a fantastic Wednesday! Don’t forget to leave me a link in your comment so I can come and check out your Waiting on Wednesday post, too.
OOh that looks intriguing by the cover alone! Hope you love it once you read it!

Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
I hope I’ll love it as much as loved the first one, Jessica 🙂
Haven’t heard of this one, but what an interesting cover! Check out my post in the link below!
Yeah, it’s set in a very different kind of world, Lisa 🙂
New to me but sounds good, hope you get a chance to read it soon, and happy holidays.
I hope I’ll get my greedy hands on it soon, too, Brandi 🙂
I’m really going to have to give this author a try, aren’t I? It’ll be stepping outside my box a little but if you love it, I know I will as well.
I hope you had a lovely Christmas, Lexxie. I took a few days off – unintentionally – but I had a grand time hanging out with my family and watching the kids with their new “toys”. Berk got a knitting loom and has already finished a scarf! We’ve had lots of good food and it snowed, so we have about a foot on the ground…the kids went sledding. It’s been wonderful. 🙂 Enjoy your Saturday, my friend! **BIG HUGS**
Ah, stepping outside the box is mostly a good thing, though, isn’t it, Brandee? I’m pretty sure you’d enjoy this – the writing is amazing!
Our Christmas was really nice, and I haven’t really been online much either, mostly posts that were scheduled in advance, and if everybody else was busy with other things, I’d spend a few minutes here and there on blogs. We actually had snow today! Even if it’s all melted again, we’re supposed to get more during the night. It’s good to ‘see’ you again, Brandee! *BIG HUGS*
