Waiting on Wednesday - (un)Conventional Bookviews

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by Jill of Breaking the Spine. This meme is a place to showcase a book we’re really looking forward to with bated breath! A new release in our favorite series, an exciting new title from a favorite author…

 Waiting on Wednesday #73

I have only recently ‘discovered’ Jay Crownover, and I want more, more, more! Built is the first book in her new series Saints of Denver, and hey, that cover is definitely one I want to make my bookshelves sexier. Built is scheduled for release on January 5th, 2016, so I don’t even have to wait for too long.

Built cover - (un)Conventional Bookviews

Sayer Cole and Zeb Fuller couldn’t be more different. She’s country club and fine-dining, he’s cell-block and sawdust. Sayer spends her days in litigation, while Zeb spends his working with his hands. She’s French silk, he’s all denim and flannel.
Zeb’s wanted the stunning blonde since the moment he laid eyes on her. It doesn’t matter how many smooth moves he makes, the reserved lawyer seems determinedly oblivious to his interest—either that or she doesn’t return it. Sayer is certain the rough, hard, hot-as-hell Zeb could never want someone as closed off and restrained as she is, which is a shame because something tells her he might be the guy to finally melt her icy exterior.
But just as things start to heat up, Zeb is blindsided by a life altering moment from his past. He needs Sayer’s professional help to right a wrong and to save more than himself. He can’t risk what’s at stake just because his attraction to Sayer feels all consuming. But as these opposites dig in for the fight of their lives, battling together to save a family, the steam created when fire and ice collide can no longer be ignored.

Thanks for stopping by, have a fantastic Wednesday! Don’t forget to leave me a link in your comment so I can come and check out your Waiting on Wednesday post, too.

  1. Sounds like a great series! I´m waiting for the second book in the series about the Seven Sisters, written by Lucinda Riley. Part of it will take place in Norway, so I´m really looking forward to it 🙂 Det er travle dager for tiden, julehandelen er i full gang og det er kjempegøy å være på jobb på Ark. Håper du har fine desemberdager 🙂

    • I think it sounds good, and I’ve heard so many great things about this author, too.
Juletiden blir ofte ganske travel. Jeg har ikke shoppet noe særlig enda, men jeg må snart begynne hvis jeg skal bli ferdig. Vi skal til Norge i julen, og vi gleder oss.

  2. I’ve not read anything by Jay! I met her in Baltimore this past September… she ran out of Built ARCs! I want to read this one, maybe in the future. I hope you love this book when you get the chance to read it!

Thanks for visiting my blog! Have a fantastic week. 🙂
