Thirsty Thursday and Hungry Hearts #19
Welcome to Thirsty Thursday and Hungry Hearts, an original weekly meme hosted here at (un)Conventional Bookviews. So many of the books I read have food or drinks in them, some I’d love to try, and others I’d never ever want to taste… and I thought it could be interesting and fun to share some food and / or drink quotes… If you want to participate, you can grab my logo if you’d like, or you can make your own, but please link back to me in your own post.
The idea of Thirsty Thursday and Hungry Hearts is to share a quote with food or drinks that showed up in a recent read, as well as if it’s something you think you’d like or not. Please share the title of the book it happened in, as well as the character who ate or drank the special little something you discovered between the pages of a good read. Please link up beneath, and visit other bloggers who are participating in Thirsty Thursday and Hungry Hearts as well.
Like last week, I’m using a quote from My Cowboy Promises by Z.A. Maxfield for my Thirsty Thursday and Hungry Hearts today. There are so many yummy food things in this story, I might even use it again very soon 😉
My Hungry Hearts quote:
“When you say concoctions – “
“I mean, what do you like in your ice cream? I like honey-roasted peanuts, fudge sauce, peanut butter, and chocolate chips.”
“Oh wow. I’ll have that.”
“Eeeeeexcellent.” He said the word like a cartoon villain. “Let us begin your training. Bwah-ha-ha.”
Doesn’t that sound amazing? Like the perfect dessert that I know I’ll have to try one day. By the way, the ice cream was vanilla 😉
Don’t forget to link up! Thanks for stopping by today, have a terrific Thursday!
This quote makes me hungry, conjuring up all the delicious desserts in the world <3
Me, too, Jeann! I wanted to put ALL the stuff in ice cream and just binge on it!
It looks too sugary, I’m a salt lover :p 😉
I love salty stuff too, Iza, but that ice cream filled with so much good stuff still sounded good, though.

Ice cream! It’s so hot here I could use a pint!
It’s been really hot here lately, too, but rather than a pint of ice cream, I prefer a cold beer 😉
This is such a cute and original idea. I read a lot of books with food in them too. Many of them are culinary or dessert themed cozies. I first discovered bubble tea through reading a book. Yummers.
Thank you Suzi 🙂 You should note down some of your quotes and stop by and share one of these Thursdays 😉 I don’t know why, but I always notice food or drinks in books, and I wanted to share something a little bit different so voila 🙂
