Teaser Tuesday - (un)Conventional Bookviews

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by Jenn @ A Daily Rhythm. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

Teaser Tuesday #52

This week, my teaser is from Hollywood on Tap (Sweet Salvation Brewery #2) by Avery Flynn. Brandee and I buddy-read the first one last week, and now we’re on to the second in the series. I’m really enjoying myself so far (even if I’m only at 9%).

For years, Sean O’Dell has hidden his past as a Hollywood heartthrob from everyone at the Sweet Salvation Brewery. However, the arrival of nosey efficiency expert Natalie Sweet threatens the status quo. It doesn’t help that with her glasses, buttoned-up sweaters and always pulled-back hair that she’s uncovered one secret already: His attraction for hot librarian types.
Natalie has had enough of the strong-and-silent Sean submarining her efforts to change the brewery for the better. She’s ready to do whatever it takes to make her vision a reality, even if that means taking down the pig-headed and too-hot-for-his-own-good brewmaster.

My Hollywood on Tap teaser:

The lack of sex, her favorite stress reliever, was really starting to get to her. Despite what her sisters thought, she wasn’t a total prude. She just had always kept her personal life and her sex life separated. No fuss, no muss.

    That makes me sad. I have a feeling her feelings on that matter will change by the time the end of the book rolls around. 🙂 This sounds like a fun read–and a great series.
