Teaser Tuesday - (un)Conventional Bookviews

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
Share the title and author, too, so that other Teaser Tuesday participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers.

Burned (Fever #7) – Karen Marie Moning

First of all, let me just tell you all the ways I squee’d this morning when I opened my kindle and Burned arrived 🙂 I have really missed Dani, Mac and Barrons. A lot!

All but one power was his: the Song of Making, which legend said had begun it all and could call forth the very fundamentals of existence.

Bored, dissatisfied, the king built and wrecked worlds and built again.

What’s your teaser today? Please share – it’s not as if a few more books on my TBR mountain will make that big of a difference 😉

    • I love this series, for many reasons. The characters are flawed, the action happens in Ireland, there are faeries and other creatures, and it’s well written, too 🙂
      Thanks for stopping by, Beth.

    • I’m a total raving fan over this series, Loupe, it’s so well written, and the world is amazing. I love that it all happens in Dublin, too 🙂
      Have a fantastic day!

  1. I’M.SO.JEALOUS that you’re already getting to read Burned! I won’t be able to start it for at least a week. 🙁 I wish I read faster. *ha* I’m happy it released and that you have it, Lexxie. I’m picking up the HC at work tomorrow. I saved my GC from my mom so I could buy it and it won’t count against my book buying ban. LOL

    • Sorry about that, Brandee (not really, though… not possible for me to resist Barrons!!)

I have other books I should probably read first, but Barrons deserves my undivided attention straight away 😉 *BIG HUGS*
