ARC Review ~ Seduced by Second Chances ~ Reese Ryan (@ReeseRyanWrites)

Seduced by Second Chances was the best of the series so far! Jessie and Gideon’s story was compelling and RRyan’s continuation of Teresa and Liam’s story had me rooting for them rather than wanting to bang my head against a wall. RRyan is a new-to-me author and I enjoyed her storytelling so much I one-clicked a few titles from her back list. 😉 Highlights Characters Yay for diversity! Jessie and Gideon knew each other as teens. See, he dated Jessie’s older sister. But Jessie always harbored a strong crush. But even when there was nothing in their way, there was something in their way. All these years later, they haven’t been able to forget one another. Cheers to second chances! […]

ARC Review ~ Taken by Storm ~ Cat Schield

ARC Review ~ Taken by Storm ~ Cat Schield

Taken by Storm is the second installment in the Dynasties: Secrets of the A-List series – a collection of stories each told by a different author. CSchield is a new-to-me author and I was eager to “meet” her as well as continue the story which began in Tempted by Scandal. Taken by Storm not only continued the overall story, but continued Liam and Teresa’s story as well as delivering the romance between Isabel and Shane. I truly enjoyed watching Isabel and Shane’s romance blossom. Isabel is the epitome of a romantic. Her job at The Opulence Hotel as the romance concierge capitalizes on those traits. She’s sweet and hard-working but she also has a bite. I admired that she wouldn’t […]

New Release Review ~ Tempted by Scandal ~ Karen Booth (@karenbbooth)

Tempted by Scandal is the first in a collaborative series and as a beginning, it has me excited by what’s to come! What Worked: Characters Tempted by Scandal revolved around a couple – Nadia and Matt. A few other characters were introduced, primarily Teresa and Liam, who will be the focus in the next installment. Nadia and Matt become involved intimately despite working together. Nadia is Matt’s assistant and he’s the CEO of his company. Yeah…scandalous. 😉 I liked them together. The seem to have a brilliant working relationship that’s helped develop their romantic feelings. And outside of work, they seem to have much in common despite vastly different upbringings. I liked that the both considered family to be very […]
