Shield of Winter is definitely a tipping point in the overall story-arc when it comes to the Psy-Changeling series. Strong characters move the story forward, helped by a tough plot. Somehow, I had read the book that is after Shield of Winter in this series, but not this one. Golden Dancer has some very strong characters that move the story forward in different ways, and I loved that there is a ballet dancer involved! A SEAL’s Touch made me tingle all over – I love a good friends to lovers story, and Weber delivered on all the things I enjoy with that particular romance trope.
