Heartland pulled at my heartstrings – the friends to lovers trope, the slow burn, and the amazing chemistry made my heart both gooey and achy! Bowen always manages to write stories that bring out all the feels, and Heartland is no exception to that! Chastity was so innocent in many ways – as she had been free from the religious cult she was born into for only two years. In other ways, though, she was both strong and independent.
