A Fall of Water was the perfect ending to B & Gio’s story, as well as the Elemental Mysteries series. EHunter brought things to a very satisfying conclusion without it being trite. She also setting the stage for the two (?) spinoff series in such a way as to ensure I continue on with these characters. 🙂 Special thanks, once again, to Lenore of Celebrity Readers for buddy reading with me. *mwah* Everything has been leading up to this final book. OH. MY. GOODNESS. EHunter continues to hold me captive with this series. Maybe it’s just me but I feel like this series keeps getting better. I was so eager to crack open this book but I could never have prepared for all it contained. Gah! So intense! The Force of Wind kept me riveted with this installment. I was alternately biting my nails, tearing up, and swooning. The Force of Wind puts the romance between B and Gio on the back burner in favor of lots of action. Review ~ A Hidden Fire ~ Elizabeth Hunter

If I hadn’t read other books from EHunter, I’d feel a lot worse for not having gotten to A Hidden Fire sooner. As it is, I’m still kicking myself. But I was thrilled to be able to join Sophia Rose and Lenore (COYER friends) in a buddy read, especially because I was able to chat, moon, and generally wax poetic about how incredible this book is!
