Review ~ The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea ~ Elizabeth O’Roark

It’s official. With The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, EO’Roark solidified her place as a new favorite author. And I don’t care what you say, I’m not choosing between Hayes and Josh. Nope. Not gonna do it. 😉 Okay, so I absolutely FLOVE the setup for this one. Drew, who we met in A Deal with the Devil, is invited to spend a vacation with her on again/off again boyfriend and his family. The only problem being that his brother also being present. His annoyingly judgemental but HOT brother. Did I mention he’s HOT?!? 😉 Josh is constantly getting in Drew’s business when Six (who does have a common name but he’s a rock star so…) doesn’t show for […]

Review ~ Waking Olivia ~ Elizabeth O’Roark

Review ~ Waking Olivia ~ Elizabeth O’Roark

I immediately dove head first into Waking Olivia once I’d finished A Deal with the Devil. And to confirm what I’d purported after finishing Hayes and Tali’s story – yes, a resounding yes, EO’Roark is a new favorite author. So much yeesssss! Olivia is starting a new school and a new track team after an incident that got her kicked out of her last school, off her last team. She’s one of the best long-distance runners in the nation but she has attitude to spare and a problem she feels she can’t share. But when her new coach, who happens to be young and hot, won’t get off her case, she opens up to him. And when he understands her […]

Review ~ A Deal with the Devil ~ Elizabeth O’Roark

I think I may have found a new favorite author. I picked up A Deal with the Devil after seeing Jana Aston recommend it as the “best book of 2021.” It’s absolutely going on my list of best reads in 2022. The last thing Tali wants to do is a 6-week gig working for Hayes Flynn, temporarily stepping into her friend’s position. Hayes has a certain reputation and Tali’s had enough of womanizing men, especially after being betrayed by the one she thought she’d marry. But she needs the money in the worst way so she’ll take the job and heed her friend’s advice…”don’t sleep with him.” Shouldn’t be difficult to make it the 6 weeks. But the more time […]
