The Sunday Post #47 – Weekly Wrap-up

Welcome to my Sunday Post. Thank you to Kimba over at The Caffeinated Reviewer, who is hosting this weekly event. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.

I had a busy week with teaching this week, and it’s always a little difficult when following someone else’s program. The students all seem like good kids, and they were working really well, so I’m thinking next week will be a good one.

On Friday evening, my husband, the kids and I went out for dinner, and on our walk home, the sky was exploding with colors. It was so beautiful, and the picture below is actually taken with my phone – no filters or changes made!

What have you been up to this past week? Don’t forget to leave me a link so I can come visit your Sunday Post as well.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you’ve enjoyed your weekend, and that next week will be filled with awesome!

  1. Glad you’re feeling positive about the week ahead Lexxie. It must be hard inheriting someone else’s lesson plan.

And what a beautiful sunset. (And you probably walked off dinner! So you won all round!!!).

  3. Gorgeous sky! How great to capture nature in those magical moments.

It’s also great that you had a good week with the students…may each week be better than the last.

Thanks for sharing…and for visiting my blog. I am off to check out some of those links!

  4. That is a beautiful picture! Our night sky rarely looks like that (it must be all the smog we have). It sounds like you are off to a good start for the school year. It is always hard picking up where someone left off. Have a great week!

  5. I can only admire those who do substitute teaching, I’d be no good at it. I loved teaching and establishing a good rapport with students in my class, but doing what you do, just feels very daunting.
Want to try Ilona Andrews series, everyone rates them highly.

  6. Lovely photo. I try to make it a point to check out the sunset every day and not take the beauty for granted. Hope you are enjoying the Kate Daniels series. I love it.

  7. That *is* a gorgeous sky, Lexxie! 🙂 I’m glad you’ve gotten the first week under your belt. This week should be cake. LOL I hope we can find time to chat soon. We have some catching up to do. 😀 The KA signing on Saturday was fun. She’s just such a neat person. I’m putting together a post about it – want to share more Rock Chick love. **BIG HUGS**

  8. Sounds difficult to teach on someone else’s program, but that’s good news the students are nice. Hopefully next week will be even better! That sunset picture is beautifull! I love seeing the sunset, we have a nice view here as we live on the thrid floor, so that often means we can see sunsets from our window. I hope you’ll have good week!
