Weekend Wrap-up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookworms and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer.
STS #298
Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality is all about the latest additions to my library – virtual or actual, with books that are bought, borrowed, won or ARCs I will (probably) be reading soon. Without further ado, here’s what I added to my bloated shelves this past week:
Thank you William Morrow Paperbacks! I can’t wait to read this one.
I got this one in several author newsletters, and it was such a fun anthology!
The Sunday Post #238 – Weekend Wrap-up
Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.
You may have noticed that I didn’t even do a wrap-up post last week. That’s because again, I’ve been so busy I haven’t had time to do much at all that didn’t have to do with work or Uni. I went to bed at 7pm on evening, that’s how exhausted I’ve been. Thankfully, the next two weeks are a little lighter, as about half my students have exams until the Christmas holiday. I’m counting down the days, I really, really need a break!

Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction and Shannon @ It Starts at Midnight shared the December link-ups for their Discussion Challenge.
Kristen @ Metaphors and Moonlight has a 5 Sci-Fi / Fantasy books with no romance recommendation post that’s really good!
Did you get some good books last week? What have you been up to this past week? Thanks for stopping by, I hope you’re enjoying your weekend, and that next week will be filled with awesome!
I’ve been behind on my reading and I’m racing to finish my reading goal for the year. Great post!
Good luck, Sumedha 🙂
Haha the dogs probably know you need a break too- I think sometimes they can sense such things. 🙂
Hope you have a great week!
I’m sure they know, Greg! They are bundles of love and understanding! Have a great week yourself 🙂
yes I am looking forward to that break tooo … i think
I hope it’ll be relaxing for you!
I hope you get a nice relaxing break! Totally understandable for being absent!
Nice new reads! New to me ones but I hope you will enjoy them!
My StS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
Thanks Jessica! I’ll be sure to stop by tomorrow to say hi and see what you’re up to 🙂
A break would be fantastic. I hope you get yours soon! Love your puppies! They are so fluffy and cute!
I hope this week is awesome for you Linda! Happy Reading! (I keep typing Lexxie first) lol
Two more weeks, and then I’ll have two glorious weeks off!
It’s OK if you type Lexxie… it’s in person I forget that it’s me 😉
Sorry you have been so flat out – and I hope the coming week gives you a chance to ease up and recover!
Thanks Sarah! This semester has been brutal – I need to keep my bearings so I can get through next semester 🙂
I hope you manage to get plenty of rest to regather and start the next term fully recovered. Teaching can be a brutal drain on you, otherwise…
I figured that was what happened last week. You’ve been doing amazing keeping up with it all. I don’t blame you for falling asleep early some nights. Glad you’re getting a bit of a breather during exams weeks.
Cute Jill Shalvis and the antho does look fun.
Have a great week, Linda!
I really had to take care of myself a little bit – getting some rest, and still being able to get some work done. I’m glad exam weeks are going to be a little easier on me, too!
Have a great week yourself, Sophia! 🙂
Adorable puppies! The new Jill Shalvis book looks tempting.
Enjoy your week, and here are Weekly Updates
I love Jill Shalvis, and I can’t wait to get started with her newest. I want to wait until January 1st, though, so it can count for my 2020 New Release Challenge 🙂
I’m also counting the days until Christmas break – the Uni research centre closes, which means a break from work and from classes. Nevertheless, it will be a busy week preparing essays…
Happy readings!
Tânia @MyLovelySecret
I’ll be grading tests over the break, but apart from that, I truly hope I’ll be able to just relax and enjoy some family time!
I am in the “early-bed-club” too. So my list of things I have to do isn´t getting any smaller. Have a great weekend and new week.
I just have to get my sleep – if not I won’t be able to function at all, Vi.
It’s impossible for me to miss any Jill Shalvis release. I love her. I’m sorry you have been so busy and that you get a break soon. I’ve been busy and tired enough that I do sleep well when my mind isn’t buzzing with ideas. I went to bed an hour early last night, instead of staying up past my bedtime so I’m ready to go today. Have a great week with a bit more rest!
Anne – Books of My Heart Here is my Sunday Post
Glad to hear you will getting a little break from work soon. Definitely something to look forward to. I loved The Hard Count. Ginger Scott always seems to hit me in the feels with all her books. Same with Emma Scott
Sorry to hear you’ve been so busy Linda. I hope your weeks get less busy soon!
And your dogs are just so cute! Dogs really seem to know what we humans need at times.
Have a great week and happy reading!
I hope Christmas break gets here quickly. Have a great week!
It’s an exhausting time of year
Wishing you a great reading week
