Weekend Wrap-up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookviews and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer.

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality is all about the latest additions to my library – virtual or actual, with books that are  bought, borrowed, won or ARCs  I will (probably) be reading soon. The Sunday Post #165 – Weekend Wrap-up

Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.

This week, I’ve written a ton of reviews. And I’ve also prepared my end-of-the-year posts so I won’t have to write blog-posts during the holiday. It’s been a more quiet week, which was so nice after the frenetic pace of the rest of November. And, we’re already in December – can you believe it? It snowed here on Thursday and Friday, and while it didn’t stick to the ground, it sure looked nice when the trees were covered in white for a while.

This Week’s Puppies in Action:

Freddy - (un)Conventional Bookviews - Weekend Wrap-up
Freddy was busy with his bone for a very long time 🙂
Hercules was so tired after running around outside trying to catch snowflakes.
Freddy found his way to my reading corner, and installed himself very comfortably on my jacket.

  1. How fun to have your NG wish granted. Nice haul. I’m curious about Vicious so I’ll watch for your thoughts on it.

Good to have a quiet week. Snow flurries are so pretty. We had some in November, but now we warmed up a little so I’m not sure when we’ll see snow again.

The dogs are cute with their curled up bodies for sleep.

  2. I love when Netgalley wishes get granted. It’s always so sweet to see it pop into you inbox. And i’ve been prepping my Dec blog posts too. I will have lots of time over the hols but I want to spend them visiting other blogs, and reading, not writing posts.

  3. Nice! I keep seeing everyone getting this Furyborn. I’m sort of intrigue just because everyone is excited about getting it! Lol! I hope you enjoy all your amazing new reads!

My STS will be up tomorrow so be sure to stop by then!

    Have a GREAT day!

    Old Follower 🙂

  4. One of my recent purchases was a John Marrs books. I haven’t read his work yet, but I hope to change that soon. The One sounds like it will be good! I hope you enjoy Into the Wild! It’s one I read a few years ago. Freddy and Hercules look like they are having a nice time of it. 🙂

I hope you have a great December, Lexxie!

  5. Eve

Awe the cutties! So adorable. I hope you enjoy Vicious I read it either earlier this year or last and enjoyed it 🙂

  6. I’m so jealous you got snow! I want snow so much! The dogs look adorable as usual. Glad you were able to get blogged ahead so you can enjoy some downtime.

  7. Wonderful book haul. Archer’s Voice is one of my all time favorites, I hope you enjoy it. Today in Colorado was in the 60’s, hopefully the snow will come soon. Chasing snowflakes is very tiring 🙂 Have a wonderful week.

  8. Awwwww, cute doggies! My dog does the same, if there is a blanket or jacket laying around he’ll claim it for himself. I hope that you enjoy Vicious! I’ve heard nothing but great things about it, so hopefully it lives up to the expectations. Have a good week! 🙂

  9. I can’t wait for you to read Archer’s Voice!! I read it when it was released but I still reread it from time to time. And since I know our book tastes match, I Hope/know you will too!
    Here’s my Haul

  10. Looks like you’ve got some great new books Lexxie. Awesome that you’ve got your end-of-the-year posts ready. I’m trying to get them done too this week.
    Happy Reading!

  11. I’ve heard some good things about Furyborn and can highly recommend The One – I really enjoyed it:). Luckily we haven’t had any snow and hopefully we won’t – I hate it as in the UK we are only really prepared for drizzle – any other weather event has us completely flummoxed. Have a great week and well done for getting so well organised in advance!

  12. I love the quiet weeks too. Especially now with Christmas looming. LOL We’ve been in the 70s and sunny and I’m enjoying the t-shirt and shorts while I can:) The pups sure look happy. It’s funny how they’ll lay on anything you own. Quigley does that too. He’ll even lay on the grocery bags while I’m trying to empty them. LOL

    My Sunday Post

  13. I need to get on the writing train this week. I’m hoping I can with testing two days! I am struggling with the fact that it is December and 21 days until Christmas!

  14. That book “The One” cover looks great. I’m going to have to look it up. I love that ominous question. Puppies are adorable as always. Glad you’ve had a great week. I got caught up on my reviews this weekend too. Yay!!
