Weekend Wrap-up is where I share my new books, as well as what happened here at (un)Conventional Bookviews and elsewhere in the blogoshpere. I’m linking up with the usual suspects, AKA Team Tynga’s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer.
STS #215
Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality is all about the latest additions to my library – virtual or actual, with books that are bought, borrowed, won or ARCs I will (probably) be reading soon. Without further ado, here’s what I added to my bloated shelves this past week:
I got my wish granted by Sourcebooks Fire on NetGalley when it comes to Furyborn, and I’m so excited about this book!
Thank you, Harelquin, St. Martins’ Press, and NetGalley!
The books above were either free or on sale, so of course, I was completely unable to resist 😉
I got Into the Wild as I’ll have to read it before the end of the school-year, I will be one of the examinators for students who have read it during the semester.
The Sunday Post #165 – Weekend Wrap-up
Kim @ The Caffeinated Reviewer, is our hostess with the mostest for the weekly Sunday Post where I’m wrapping things up. It is the perfect opportunity to share what happened here on my own blog, as well as some of the happenings elsewhere in the Blogosphere.
This week, I’ve written a ton of reviews. And I’ve also prepared my end-of-the-year posts so I won’t have to write blog-posts during the holiday. It’s been a more quiet week, which was so nice after the frenetic pace of the rest of November. And, we’re already in December – can you believe it? It snowed here on Thursday and Friday, and while it didn’t stick to the ground, it sure looked nice when the trees were covered in white for a while.

Did you get some good books last week? What have you been up to this past week? Thanks for stopping by, I hope you’re enjoying your weekend, and that next week will be filled with awesome!
How fun to have your NG wish granted. Nice haul. I’m curious about Vicious so I’ll watch for your thoughts on it.
Good to have a quiet week. Snow flurries are so pretty. We had some in November, but now we warmed up a little so I’m not sure when we’ll see snow again.
The dogs are cute with their curled up bodies for sleep.
Yes, a quiet week was really needed! I think vicious might still be free, Sophia, if you want to grab it yourself.
These days, the dogs are either sleeping or play fighting. So much fun!
I love when Netgalley wishes get granted. It’s always so sweet to see it pop into you inbox. And i’ve been prepping my Dec blog posts too. I will have lots of time over the hols but I want to spend them visiting other blogs, and reading, not writing posts.
Nice! I keep seeing everyone getting this Furyborn. I’m sort of intrigue just because everyone is excited about getting it! Lol! I hope you enjoy all your amazing new reads!
My STS will be up tomorrow so be sure to stop by then!
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower 🙂
Great book haul. I liked Vicious and Into the Wild. I hope you like them, too.
I hope you love Furyborn! Getting one’s bookish wishes granted is the best.
And so are those puppies. Enjoy them and the week ahead.
Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
Congrats on getting your wish granted. I hope you love all of your new books.
Grace @ Books of Love
One of my recent purchases was a John Marrs books. I haven’t read his work yet, but I hope to change that soon. The One sounds like it will be good! I hope you enjoy Into the Wild! It’s one I read a few years ago. Freddy and Hercules look like they are having a nice time of it. 🙂
I hope you have a great December, Lexxie!
That’s great you are getting your blog posts done before the Holidays. I did a bunch too. I love the pictures of Hercules and Freddie.
Awe the cutties! So adorable. I hope you enjoy Vicious I read it either earlier this year or last and enjoyed it 🙂
I’m super curious about Furyborn. The best way to get decent pictures of my pups is to do so when they are sleeping or eating. Adorable as always!
I’m so jealous you got snow! I want snow so much! The dogs look adorable as usual. Glad you were able to get blogged ahead so you can enjoy some downtime.
Wonderful book haul. Archer’s Voice is one of my all time favorites, I hope you enjoy it. Today in Colorado was in the 60’s, hopefully the snow will come soon. Chasing snowflakes is very tiring 🙂 Have a wonderful week.
We got some snow in my neck of the woods this week…it’s still on the rooftops, but melted from the ground. I got a load of new books because I just couldn’t resist the Cyber Monday deals this week.
Have a great weekend.
The snow disappeared almost as soon as it arrived, but that’s OK… we got some!
I can’t get to your blog with the link, Katie… it says your blog doesn’t exist 🙁
Awwwww, cute doggies! My dog does the same, if there is a blanket or jacket laying around he’ll claim it for himself. I hope that you enjoy Vicious! I’ve heard nothing but great things about it, so hopefully it lives up to the expectations. Have a good week! 🙂
I can’t wait for you to read Archer’s Voice!! I read it when it was released but I still reread it from time to time. And since I know our book tastes match, I Hope/know you will too!
Here’s my Haul
Now I’m even more excited to read it, Priyanka! If you loved it, I’m pretty sure I will, too 😀
I was quite busy in November too. I hope you have a great month in December!
I have Archer’s Voice too. I hope you’ll enjoy your new books! happy reading!
Looks like you’ve got some great new books Lexxie. Awesome that you’ve got your end-of-the-year posts ready. I’m trying to get them done too this week.
Happy Reading!
I’ve heard some good things about Furyborn and can highly recommend The One – I really enjoyed it:). Luckily we haven’t had any snow and hopefully we won’t – I hate it as in the UK we are only really prepared for drizzle – any other weather event has us completely flummoxed. Have a great week and well done for getting so well organised in advance!
I love the quiet weeks too. Especially now with Christmas looming. LOL We’ve been in the 70s and sunny and I’m enjoying the t-shirt and shorts while I can:) The pups sure look happy. It’s funny how they’ll lay on anything you own. Quigley does that too. He’ll even lay on the grocery bags while I’m trying to empty them. LOL

Oh, congrats on getting the book you really wanted 🙂 and time really does fly! I haven’t done any of my Christmas gift shopping yet, and I know I’ll just blink and it’ll be Christmas…
I need to get on the writing train this week. I’m hoping I can with testing two days! I am struggling with the fact that it is December and 21 days until Christmas!
Gah, your dogs are just too cute!! I love doggy photos. I haven’t gotten any snow yet, but I do love it!

Typo when entering it on the line. I’ve been more careful with this comment. 🙂

That book “The One” cover looks great. I’m going to have to look it up. I love that ominous question. Puppies are adorable as always. Glad you’ve had a great week. I got caught up on my reviews this weekend too. Yay!!
